320gb Harddrive... Got some much needed free space now!

 

Today a brand new GEO opened 1 minute walk from my home ! I shit you not ! 1 minute ! Basically my home is behind the store to the left. Anyway, this is the biggest GEO in Yamaguchi prefecture. It may not look that wide from the picture but what you can't see is how far back it goes. It's also the only place that has loads of DS lite systems.



Anyway, today they were doing a special campaign on DVD rentals. 1 DVD for 1 week was only 10 yen !! Normally it's over 100 yen per night ! Needless to say I stocked up on about 20 titles which now need ripping but the best part of the shop is the games section. It was quite a sight I can tell you ! I picked up 10 Dreamcast titles and about 8 Saturn games including Strikers 1945 II, Silhouette Mirage and The King Of Fighters Box Set. So I take everything to the counter, hand over my credit card and wait, and wait and wait ! My bloody card was dead ! The strip on the back wouldn't swipe so I ended up having to put most of the stuff back but did get these goodies.

Gundam Side Story The Blue Destiny box set (never seen this before) comes with all 3 games plus a bonus game disc.
Sega Marine Fishing - Which I'm sure I already own so I may sell this one.

Been enjoying this the past couple of days, the screen quality is amazing. The colours are so vivid.

They sell Famicom, Game Cube, SFC, DS and N64 stuff. They had 2 mint boxed SFC units for 2100 yen but I think that's only for today's campaign.

Well its 27" which isnt bad but i just really couldnt aford to go any bigger. PLus its nice and black and sits nicely next to my monitor, pc and the rest of the black stuff!

Today did some more buys. Rented the entire Masion Ikkoku DVD set (all 24) for ten yen each so the DVD burner is going to be doing some over time. Plus a few more games for me and the shop.

Today I got :
Gungriffon II and some El Cheapo RPG by Soft Office. Looks bloody awful but I'm strangely attracted to such crap as this.


Strikers 1945 II - I was a bit unsure whether to buy this or not since the spine was missing then to my surprise when I opened it the spine was inside the case . Digimon Ver.S


Angle Present and Super Hero Retsuden which is actually pretty good and quite enjoyable in a cheesy sort of way. Classic 70's bad taste all round.

Love Hina - pretty nice RPG by Sega based on the anime and manga with all original voice cast.


Finally a few N64 games - Castlevania, Star Soldier and G.A.S.P. - Played the first 10 minutes of the Castlevania game and so far seems to be almost the same game as the follow up which I played first !

$150 for two toms and a bass drum (not pictured) (Tama Rockstar Custom drums). I need to pay the poor guy tommorow.

I need to replace the heads and get some more hardware, but I can finally say I have some drums. Too bad I won't be getting any gaming/computer related stuff for awhile (at least until the tax return thing...).

 

Bought two tickets to see Tool in Chicago May 13th.

 

Bought 20 super slim DVD cases today. THese things are great for saving space.

Got the InfoGenius Organizer for the original GameBoy, as well as a mint conditioned first-version, bandai-distributed copy of Super Mario Land 2. Unfortunately, i finished the game yesterday few hours upon getting it in my hands. I seemed to remeber it being harder back when I was a kid...it's probably because my hands are bigger now

 

Baten Kaitos II - sequel to my offical favourite "recent" rpg. Should be pretty good.

D - Des Row Konami Style edition album. Cool, simple Japanese rock. Good for learning man Japanese!

They don't happen to have more Hina games for the DC laying around there ?

 

there are 2 love hina games for the dc.... i think....

Bought 2 broken PSP, got them both for about 230, i'll sell them for parts, will make a 120% profit or so.
