Its not that their expensive, but I just ran out of money in general. I had bought 11 SFC games plus FF3, plus the SUper Fami boxed so.

One of the K Marts is closing to reopen as Sears something or other. Anyway, a massive closeout has been going for a while. Games are marked 50% off which for K Mart can be a good deal (or not). :p

    I picked up:

    X Box

    The Warriors
    Midnight Club 3
    Mercenaries

    PS2

    Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks

    GC

    SSX On Tour
    Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

also got a Segagaga VMU a few weeks ago.

Got Feel The Magic and Metroid Prime Hunters.

I'm liking Feel the magic more than I thought I would, and Metroid Prime has been great so far, even if it does not properly support the thumbstrap for touchscren play. Deathmatch online was very smooth, but I had to wait a lot to find an opponent, almost like in Mario Kart.

I'm getting a wireless router in a few days, so the wait will be more bearable at home. I usally have to play at a wi-fi spot at a local mall.

Got a Sega Saturn. It has a small, anoying scratch near the cart port, but everything else looks great. I had to choose between a Saturn with Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Cop or another with 8 games, an aditional controller (eclipse) a new battery and an extension for the controller cord.

I went for quantity, and now would gladly trade 5 of those games for VF2. You see, these are the games that came with the package:

Battle Monsters (Box, manuals.) I tend to agree with Yakumo on this one. So bad, yet there is something on this game that makes me want to play it every once in a while. Must be the music. Thanks for this craptastic game, Acclaim!

Rise 2: Resurrection. Better than Rise of the Robots, still shit, though. Disc only. Thanks again, Acclaim! Must be great to be Mirage, releasing crappy fighting games and publishers actually buying them.

Battle Arena Toshinden Remix (Box, manuals.) Had a lot of fun with it's terrible voice acting. Everyone has a lousy foregin accent! Actually decent compared to the previous two games, but still does not look as good compared to the PSOne version.

Madden 97 (Box, manuals.) Don't like american football games, but lucky me, it's actually unplayable because the disk is scratched! Guess I'll have to trade it with the seller in a few days ;)

Myst (Box, manuals.) I love game manuals that have the notes section actually used by a previous owner. This one has lot's of hints!

D (Discs only) Like Myst, not my type of game, but will try to play it later as I have heard good things about this one...Kinda surprised this one was also published by Acclaim.

Die Hard the Arcade (Box, manuals) Loved the arcade, finished the sequel, so you bet I was really interested in this one. A shame there are only 4 credits! And I hate the small loading time between every round and during cinemas.

Daytona (Disc Only) A.K.A. The only game that I really love of the bunch.

Hopefuly this sunday I should be able to get better games. Can't wait for the 2D fighters!

I picked up Mario Kart 64 and House of the Dead 2 yesturday. I offered to buy the guys PS1 display unit, but he said no. Oh, and it's really weird going back and forth between Double Dash and 64, there are a lot more differences than I thought. The controls feel weird in DD after playing the 64 version for a few hours...

Garlo, you got a load of shitty games there, didn't you ! Let's hope you'll get some more good ones to go along with Daytona.

Heh, you gotta watch the abbreviations. I saw that and read it as "Mortal Kombat 64 is way better than Mario Kart Double Dash." ;)

Yeah, it's great. I love how soft it is, and since it's filled with sand, stalls are easier.

I'm still saving up for the PSP, so no game-related purchases.

I did buy In Flames - Come Clarity today, though ($14). The first two tracks are all I've listened to, but it sounds way better than their last album so far.
