I don't know, I'd say fairly common. I can't say I've seen too many in stores, but you can buy them directly from Nintendo pretty easily. My roommate actually has two of them. I got kind of excited at first because I had only seen them as an exclusive for a special system in Asia, but then did some looking around the web and found that they were just about everywhere. A very nice looking controller though, I wish I had one.

Got one of the Sega Saturn "bootleg" demo CD with original envelope (Sega Rally! Clockwork Knight! Some baseball game!) and PGA Tour Golf 97 (disc only) for almost nothing at a flea market. I was very lucky to find them! They were in a pile of cell phone chargers and empty Windows CD jewel cases. But that Golf game really sucks.

For the Dreamcast, got brand new copies of Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Aerowings and NBA on NBC (wich actually is just another version of NBA Jam! Boom-shaka-laka or whatever!) and a used copy of Centipide, wich looks like a bad N64 game and plays like an Atari Jaguar game. Al four were about 15 dollars, plus shipping.

And finally, got the book "Power Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life" by Wired/Insert Credit Chris Kohler. It was very entertaining and had quite a bit of info I was not aware of. My only complaint is that there is a bit too much about Final Fantasy, but also, I have never been a fan.

Power Up is an excellent book, out of all the gaming-related books I've read his is pretty much the only one which hasn't had noticeable errors. He's a true gaming geek. He writes for Wired's blog Game|Life, which is worth checking, too.

This is the last thing I'll be buying for awhile...

It's an eMachines laptop that's mainly for school. I was looking at an IBM, but I've had good luck with recent eMachines computers so I figured this one was worth a shot. It's specs are:

    AMD Sempron 3200+ (512K cache)
    512MB DDR2 RAM
    60GB hard drive
GeForce 6100 Go (big selling point for me)
Integrated wireless card (another big selling point)

It came with a free bookbag and 128mb flash drive. There is a two year warranty, but hopefully I won't have to use it (looking good so far :)). I paid $798 for the whole thing (tax free weekend).
By the way, the junk in the background is my brother's. I'm not that messy.
