If you're going past 50" in size, it's not worth it to go LCD/plasma.

Once you've gotten that big you should be using a projection setup if you care about quality or cost.

Not to be a downer but that Bravia is a one year old model :p or at least here it is. Still, I like the glass outline to it. the newer ones don't have that.

Got quite a few nice items over the last week all for the Saturn.

Below you can see Blam Machine Head (Factory sealed), Ninja Jajamaru, Criticom, Keriotosse! (released in 1999!), Sega Ages Mickey & Donald, The 2nd Gundam Zeta game and Dragon Force.

Also got this nice early demo version of Virtua Fighter II
    [IMG]

Best of all though is the final Virtua Fighter CG Disc - volume 11 which was limited in numbers plus not for sale. The only way to get this was through a contest I from what I've heard.

Oh, and lets not forget my wobbling solar Mario mushroom placed on my very messy (at the moment) computer desk. Yep, all it does is wobble from side to side.

Hmm, I seem to remember you had to mail something (probably from the previous CG discs) to receive it. Similar to like how you could get the Shining Force Premium disk.

I love the wobble mushroom

My Haul from DenDen Town in Osaka....

I spent a couple of days in Osaka and here's what I picked up:

    Famicom Diskkun US Golf Gold

    Famicom Diskkun Stationary Set

    Nintendo Punch Out Gold

    Famicom Mini Collection Volume 1

    Famicom Mini Collection Volume 2

    Famicom Mini Collection Volume 3

    Casio PV-1000 Software

I also snagged another PS3, PV-1000, Gakken TV-Boy, Neo Geo Front Loader, Neo Geo Top Loader, Neo Geo AES, and a dozen PC-FX games at 100 yen each.

The PV-1000 software was the big score in my opinion. Those games are getting to be very, very, very hard to find. I happened to mention to the salesman that I was looking for PV-1000 software and he ran upstairs and got the bunch. They weren't being offered for sale on the floor. Looks like I got lucky with a random comment...

There were a few Diskkun items that I ran across. They had the Game & Watch version in a couple of stores. One was complete with the box, letter, and other documents. But they wanted $600 for it...wasn't sure if I could resell it or not. I really wanted to get the whole set: Japan Golf, US Golf, Stationary, Game & Watch, and the Gold Punch Out. That would have been one HELL of an auction...heh.
