A "new" copy of Disgaea 1*by new i mean they took it out of a bag and put it in the floor display box. that was the last copy they had*
and
a sealed but slightly roughed up copy of dragon quest VIII.

 

Following Azraelscross's lead in dragging this thread back to game related purchases as I fear that this thread will start getting clothes, shoes and even food related posts.... :lol:

Anyway went out and bought Puyo Puyo 15th Aniversary as it is probably the best version of Puyo Puyo ever, the extra games do add so much to the basic gameplay. ^_^

The other playstation games were less then 500 yen each, Our Graduation being another Mahjong game for my collection; PaRappa the Rapper not working on a PS3 (although for some reason the US and Euro versions work perfectly on their machines...), Navit a road traffic game where you build traffic lights, road markings, repair roads and try to get traffic flowing through your city; Capcom Gen 5, being Streetfighter and although a little slower I don't think has aged that badly and Densha De Go! 2, still a bugger to play properly. ^_^

I obtained a second GameCube (silver)for modding purposes and also obtained a NEW black Genuine N64 Controller! (the joystick is perfect!!!)

 

well if you do get stuck with the gamecube modding dont forget to checkout my sale or a premodded one! ;-)

and slightly off topic but did you get the cables ok?

Hitachi 37" LCD review

not a big as i wanted but will do for now and got it for a bargain price (£430) until i can afford something bigger as my of my spare cash at the mo is being invested in the buisness

just waiting for the wife to take the kids swimming before i start to re-organise my vast amount of cables behind the tv unit!

Half-Life 2 - Xbox
Space Channel 5 - DC

And four OXM Demo discs inlucing the Holiday 2004 disc with the Wolf Metal Chaos hidden demo.

 

Did quite a bit of game shopping this week and a special find of a brand new Mandrake not that far from where I work.

Anyway, loads of stuff this week starting off with Gauntlet, Art of Fighting, Devil Crash MD, Hell Fire, Splatter House III and Chiki Chiki Boys all on the Mega Drive.


Next is the Saturn with Phantasm (8 bloody discs !!), Virtual Call S (in a very odd slip case that features no Saurn or even game marks!), Game Basic for Saturn including manuals and cable, Lupin the 3rd Chronicles cover version 3 and 2 (Just to have all versions), Jungle Park Special Pack, Chaos Control Remix (No idea what is different about this and the normal version), Magical Girl Pretty Sammy Heart No Kimochi, Primal Shite err Rage, Making of Nightruth II Voice Selection, PGA Tour '97 and Battle Garegga.


Keeping with Saturn there's the I miss you Compile magazine that comes with a Saturn disc featuring music video and mini games. Plus Super Darius II for the PC Engine Super CD.


And finally Zero Eve Special Pack (Thanks to Escape-To-88 for that) and Nakoruru special pack that comes with a nice Nakoruru vinyl model.

Bought a NDS Lite today:

 

I bought Cyber Troopers Virtual On and Phantasy Star Online Ver 2. And a new messenger bag.

 

Whats Phantasm for kind of game? Is it some weird saturn version of the classic PC game Phantasm gloria (im not sure of the name, never played it myself but it sound like it cause it was also on like 8 or 7 discs).

 

Phantasm is based on the PC game but I'm not sure if it is Phantasmagoria. This starts off with a woman and guy talking over a cup of coffee in the kitchen first thing in the morning.

That does sound like Phantasmagoria & the artwork does kinda look like the woman from the game. *Starts googling* Yup, mobygames has a reference here.

That was about about 7 discs worth when I played it on the PC - how many are in that Saturn one?

The Saturn version is 8 discs ! The FMV is pretty shitty in places. Almost looks like a high end Mega CD title.

AFAIK phantasm is a different game to the orginal phantasmagoria on the pc, phantasmagoria (and its sequal the puzzle of flesh) were written by roberta williams (of the kings quest fame) and published by sierra games

approx 10 more bigbox pc games (titanic, monkey island 1 and 2, blackmoon, amerzone, simon the sourcerer 1 and 2, southpark chefs love shack and a few others)
action replay for the ds

a obscenely huge amount of my little pony toys for my 3yr old

that was my usual carboot haul, not much this week, but some quality stuff non-the-less, missed out on a cracking set of denon floorstanding speakers for £20 though! must have been about 2 1/2 foot tall, 12inch sub, would have gone great with my new tv, but sadly as i was looking at them someone else paid for them :crying:
