Been a busy boy today, arcade boards are so cheap nowdays. ^_^

    From top left

Wakakusamonogatari Mahjong Yonshimai - Was 500 Yen for a 1996 Mahjong game with reasonable graphics. ^_^

Sonic Wings - Already bought this before buying the one below, the board was cheap and it is quite a good shooter...

Sonic Wings (Playstation 2) was 480 Yen new, so couldnt pass it up. I baulked at the Y2000 these were originally at but at this price they are quite a bargain even if they only have one game on it, they come with a soundtrack CD, a DVD or a person one crediting the game, a booklet and a collectable card.

Hot Gimick Mahjong - Again was cheap and I like this game, even if I do have it on Playstation 2 and PC already.

Final Romance R - So cheap that it hurt (really, I cut myself on the edge connector...)

Ibara (Playstation 2) - Decided I needed more shooters and this looked cute, so I risked the 5000 Yen it was, still need to play it.

Scramble (Playstation 2) - See Sonic Wings.

Going to go back to Akihabara tomorrow to pick up Pilot Wings and Crazy Climber as well as more cheap Mahjong boards.

Got a boxed Sega Saturn, with RF adaptor, NiGHTS, Croc, NHL all star 98, some demos, manuals, promo leaflets & stickers from my local used book/laserdisc/cd/dvd/random stuff store for $30.

This is actually the first piece of Sega hardware I've ever owned! Having played with it a little, I can see why NiGHTS is well regarded.

I love Croc. The story in the instruction manual is hilarious.

Sadly, I don't have the manual for it (croc was tucked into one of the demo disc cardboard sleeves & NHL had been left in the Saturn). Wonder if there's a scan online somewhere?

Well after waiting a week or so my Sega Saturn turned up today. However it wasn't what we see pictured. What I actually received was a mint condition boxed unopened sega saturn complete with booklets inserts, bootleg sampler disc, 2 editions of Sega flash, saturn branded RGB scart cable and unopened games.....all for £20...absolute steal if you ask me!

    More stuff....

    Sound Tracks
Art of Fighting 2 - Image Album
    Samurai Spirits - The Best
    Art of Fighting 3 OST
The Adventures of Chibi Leaza (not game related but was sealed, cheap and was produced by an artist I like).

Megadrive Fan - Issue 35 (Jan 1993) - Has lots of previews and stuff, one of the interesting things in it was the preview of the non release of Alien 3 by Vic Tokai...

    Katamari Damacy - Me bad...

The last picture is of the Samurai Spirits - The Best CD, it is sealed and new and best of all it's a Sample copy. ^_^

Is this the same Alien 3 made by Prpbe for Acclaim or an all new Vic Tokai game? It would be very interesting to see if it's the latter.

That is indeed a wonderful stick  I used to own one myself many years ago. Easily the best stick ever made for that pure arcade feeling.

It was just a Japanese release of the Acclaim game, should have been released in Feb 93... there are a few more games listed that never got released, I'll translate them later and find the unreleaed MD game thread. Toaplans puzzle game Teki Paki was one of them...
