No you still need to give lots of ID (although if you are a Gaijin they generally won't accept your documents and tell you to go to Softbank / KDDI), my GF got my mobile phone and she needed to show driving licence and credit card before she could buy it and then she still had to wait 30 minutes as they sent a fax and got a reply...

Although the main challenge was finding a convience store that had the phones in stock... I think we went to 12, most not having it and not having any idea when they will come back into stock... before going to one that has just opened that day and finding that they had a whole 2 in stock...

 

oh right. I thought that they had been stopped.

 

Oh yes! After loving the censored Japanese Wii version I'm all ready for some full on un censored 360 action with extras. And just what is happening on the first picture card in the 8 erotic card set?

Does it have a full English option?

 

It has full English speech but all the text is in Japanese. It also has the same God awful loading times as the Wii even with a HD install. It also has the same bugs as the Wii and it also crashed in the exact same point as my Wii version. It even still has some Wii textures. You can easily tell due to the super low resolution. But even with the complaints I'm still loving it. After all, it's No More Heroes and it does have a few extras over the Wii version.

By the way, did you ever notice that Travis Touchdown had a Mega Drive / Mega CD / 32X combo in his room?

What a lovely surprise I got tonight when I arrived home. Club Nintendo had sent me a Game & Watch !! It was a gift for reaching Platinum member status in 2009. I had no idea at all that I'd be receiving one of these. I haven't even visited my Club Nintendo account since I got my 360 6 months ago.

Wow! What a nice surprise indeed! It looks very nice, I'm guessing it's some custom re-production by Nintendo and not NOS right?

 

I was about to ask the same thing. The cardboard used for the packaging doesn't look like early 80's.

But wow, how nice is that! I am really surprised Nintendo honors members with such beautiful repros from the past. While we can still be "grateful" here in Europe for the Club Nintendo stuff, it'd be unthinkable to get NOS Game & Watches as a promotion article!
First the Super Famicom pad and now a G&W. There are still moments in which Nintendo gives so much evidence for their coolness, and then there is Wii Sports, LOL. Nice1, BigN! ^______^

 

Yeah, it's a Repro but a very nice one. The Japanese Club Nintendo really does give it's highend members nice items. So far there's been a TV remote shaped like a Wii Remote, Gold Mario Statue (Metal painted gold), DS game, SFC Wii controller, Glod Painted Wheel Accessory and now thi sGame & Watch.

 

Ketsui EXTRA Edition came today. Comes with a Special soundtrack with a very nice 3D cover. There's also a Ketsui booklet which I've yet to open.

game stop in the US use those as replacement cases. If my eyes do not deceive the little letters say gears of war...

a couple days ago, I bought a Sega Saturn modchip from racketboy.com

 

It's Gears of War 2, with a Gamestop replacement case, as they didn't have it new nor used with original case.

 

Just dealt with my first foray into yahoo japan proxy service ... I completely forgot to check with shipping
methods first and got stuck with ems (which I love because it's fast and excellent tracking), but costs
about the same as a major organ transplant when dealing with heavy items like HDs.

Total for the items was cheap.. shipping was a bit more than the items




Will i use it again- more than likely, but next time, i'll wait probably aim for LIGHTER items.

 

Finally my PA parcel turned up after aaaaages, Now got my XL protected with a nice hori screen protector, can hammer the shit out of it now without worrying about scratching that lovely huge screen.

Also got Hudson X Greeeen, Live Deeees! not really a game as such but very cool if your a fan of their music.
