Cheers. It's an instant favourite item of mine now. I love BB, I love Marty, I've been after it for 4 years since I first found out about it. I'd go futher though as for me the cover is great, not just for Marty / Towns covers, but for VG covers in general.

Won't take it in the bath though. It's a glazed clay ceramic not plastic, designed as a small (palm sized) piggybank (it has a rubber stopper on the bottom with a coin slit in the middle of the stopper, so no dropping coins in the top).

Two things arrived in the post today. First was Dragon's Lair for the Mega CD.



And a free Wi-Fi router from Soft Bank because I bought an i-phone, I wasn't expecting this. So easy to set up as well. Plug the Wi-Fi router in to the normal router then enter the WAP code in to whatever you want to use it. Running my Laptop downstairs, 360 and i-phone from it now at 53MBPS. It won't do the full 100MBPS that my connection has but for a free item it's pretty cool.

What a cool looking wifi router and free which is not bad. Not bought any gaming items lately but i did get me a new AMD motherboard which arrived today as i will be upgrading/replacing my system to do a bit of gaming on, board was a Gigabyte MA770-UD3 if anyone is interested.

As soon as i get one more piece for my comp to get it running [Phenom II CPU] Then i can think about getting a few 360 games like Crackdown, GTA IV and whatever else i fancy trying.

 

Been umming & ahhing over this but i took the plunge & bought it as i need a new digital camera & this ones uber cool as it takes 2D pictures & video, & 3D pictures & video too

 

What's the quality like, Importaku?

 

Only paid for it so far as they are currently waiting for stock at jessops so it will be 10 days till i get my hands on it.

 

Got 2 new football games today which are PES 6 for the 360 and arsenal club football on the PS2.

Got quite a few football games now on various consoles although up till now i've not tried to do a collection but just bought footy games which i'd like. i will start to get as many games as i can at least from the PS1,SAT, N64 era onwards and hopefully create a nice collection

 

I got a 32gb 3GS for 200 euros,i had to sign for 18 months contract, i pay 40 euros per month, unlimited 3g and 10 minutes of calls every day, i cant be more happy with it, as i use it as 3g dongle for my notebook.
Havent installed a single app on it since i bought it, neither i got any song or movie, but i browse the net a lot on it and read mail aswell

 

I always find it funny when watching UK TV shows that feature mobile phone adds. All this 50 free text messages and 10 minutes free call is pathetic. In Japan calls to any mobile on the same network from 9am to 9pm are free. Text messages have always been free and real Email is very cheap. They really do rip you off in Europe when it comes to mobile phones and services.

Still, I bet you will love your iphone 3Gs. I'm loving mine. First thing Apple have made that is worth the hype behind it. ipod, nah, much better sounding players out there. That over sized iphone e-reader thing is also pointless. May as well get a note book :nod:

One down side to the iphone though is itunes. that is awful software. So slow, and lacking in practical features such as drag and drop of files from the phone to a PC.

I've always had a prepaid cell phone and they are charging 20Eurocents per text message!

Needless to say that I'm hardly sending one SMS a year (honestly), Lol. I wouldn't know what to write anyway, it's much more efficient to make short call or write on ICQ / e-mail.

That's it. After paying my car taxes and insurance, getting a LCD TV and now this, i can honestly say i'm broke for the next few months. :shrug:

 

Got me a new camera this week. Canon EOS 550D. Unfortunately this means I can no longer blame it on the camera

 

You've sort of answered your own question with that one. Pre-paid phones don't get free anything. They don't even have pre-paid phones in Japan anymore thanks to so called crimes by so called gaijin crime lords (Read as half Japanese people).

 

Really? Since when? Not confusing the phasing out of the 2G service (which was mainly prepaid phones....) which happened at the end of march with a general end of prepaid phones. Softbank (and KDDI just about....) still have their prepaid services on their websites and I just bought a 3000 yen prepaid card....

 

Sorry, I was talking about the ones you could buy in the likes of 7/11. If you go to SoftBank or what ever you'll need a gaijin card to get any type of phone which is no good for visitors. The ones they had in7/11 cups be bought by anyone from what I remember.
