Bending the pins back into place would have been cheaper.

no pictures since my only camera (cellphone) is in repairs atm, but my second TOOL arrived today :)

...or more like half of the TOOL :|
well, whatever, it had a working DVD drive which i needed to complete the repairs of my first TOOL and a spare HDD's and controller port(!) are always a good thing.

too bad the case was once again demolished by postal service :|

The gameplay screen looks familiar, but I don't think I've ever heard of or seen it in an arcade.
Are there more gameplay modes (ie: vertical scrolling, etc)?

Afaik is the gameplay only in "3D"... havent played it much... or at all actually as i never soldered the controls on the adapter i made for it, i just wanted to see if the PCB was starting up (bought as untested) :)

There are a couple of Mirax gameplay videos (using MAME) on youtube if you want to see how the game is like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNyrM0t4Wi4

Just picked up an MSI Wind U100 netbook in reasonable condition (albeit smoky and a bit full of crud) for £145. :)

Just got few saturn games in the post this morning and they were:

    Sega rally
    virtua fighter 2
    Fifa 97
    Olympic soccer

They are all used and not in the best of condition (disc and cases)but i'm not too bothered as its better than having a Saturn without any games at all and they all seem to work fine though i will give the discs a good clean anyway.

how much did you pay for all of those Saturn games? Could have done you the lot for 15 pound plus shipping and they'd be in great shape.

I paid £2.50 for shipping as they were free which is the only reason i went for them in that condition and i couldn't spend any other money on games for a few weeks anyway so used what was left in my paypal.

Already gave it a shot? If so, is it any good? The PUD-J5A is one thing I seriously want to try one time.
