Nice collection Yakumo! Are you sure you won't get others? I saw you missed some good ones

    Vol. 15: Decathlete Collection
    Vol. 18: Dragon Force
Vol. 20: Space Harrier Complete Collection
Vol. 25: Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box
Vol. 29: Monster World Complete Collection
    Vol. 31: Cyber Troopers Virtual-On

I'm curious to know if the increase in resolution improved anything on those. What about playing them through the framemeister?

Anyway i I have the US release of Sega Classics Collection, a compilation of some of those Sega Ages 2500 release.

Space Harrier and Alien Syndrome are good, Virtua Racing as well (apart from the annoying tyre screech noise). Out Run is decent. Golden Axe is terrible.

I'll be getting Vol. 20: Space Harrier Complete Collection, I had forgotten about that one but everything else can pass. I already have Virtual On on the 360 so I don't really need it on the PS2. I don't think there will be any improvement in resolution for the Decathlete collection since the Saturn versions ran at 480p (640 x 480) anyway at 60fps. I do run my PS2 through the Framemeister via the D-Terminal. The image is really nice however so many games are actually low resolution compared to the Dreamcast. I was kind of surprised. Still, the PS2 via the Framemeister looks really nice.

Yes, most if not all of those Sega Ages games are cheap / low resolution. A game like Burnout 3 for example, with 480p and 16:9 support, probably has a better chance to look great on it.

Can't wait to have one of those framemeisters. Already saving money for it.

They are fantastic bits of kit but make sure you are using RGB when you get one or the D-Terminal.

What's your opinion of Virtua Fighter 2 for PS2? I've considered buying it, but I've heard it's somewhat lacking in framerate and graphical accuracy to the arcade version. I read somewhere that they had to emulate parts of it, due to not having the source code to the original arcade version.

I've not played it yet. I've been waiting for my Joystick to arrive. that PS2 D-Pad really is crap. I was trying to play that Triangle Services shooter I bought with it today but gave up in the end. My stick should arrive tomorrow.

If you want better controllers, try finding a Logitech Cordless Action Controller or something from Hori.

I've been eyeing up a few Hori pads. May get one for those games I can't really play with a joystick.

Don't play it too much though... XII Stag has a reputation of trashing sticks because of its strange deflector technique. heh

Just got this items for 40€ (about 54$). I badly wanted to play The Last Story and while looking for it I just grabbed the rest of the items at my local used-video-games-store. Not the worst deal, not the best deal, but I`m ok with that :)

It's the official sony keyboard that came with linux for PS2. There was also an official mouse in that package as well.

Any usb keyboard would work in the ps2, and i'm sure this keyboard would work in any computer.

it's fun when you try to do a google search for ps2 keyboard! :)

I have tested it on my pc and almost every key works. A friend of mine tried his keyboard with OtherOS on the PS3, that did not work.
It's hard trying to collect all the parts to a complete Playstation Linux kit. Waiting for another package this week, so soon I return with more _loot_ ^-^

For that much money you should have just paid up for the linux kit.

It's a really crappy keyboard after all.
