Not something I usually buy, a PSP game. However I really like Ikkitousen and it's the only platform it was released on. Since the Limited Edition is rather rare I decided to pick it up, also came with Xross Impact as well :)

I have had 3 of these PS2 lots the 1 from Hit-Japan was 50% garbage sports (mostly about 5 copies of every winning eleven game) and slot machine titles they did come in handy though because I swapped the case's with some of my tatty PAL games, and the rest decent but cheap games.
The 2 PS2 lots from Yamatoku-Classic however had lots of decent games and not many sports games, I got Devil May Cry 1 & 2, all FF games, Both Kingdom Hearts lots for RPG's from Atlus and many other RPG's, Hello Kitty and a buch of weird looking games with nice artwork al; in good contition with manuals.

And the PS2 games just keep coming. Shinobi and Kunoichi, both for 300 yen plus free shipping from Yahoo Auctions. A steel IMO.

I also bought a set of 50 DVD cases to replace the dirty scratched ones that came in the game lot I bought. The cases were only 2000 yen after shipping and are of high quality which is a surprise. I was expecting flimsy cheap crap but these are pretty nice.

Pretty normal for the PAL-Version of UD... what's not normal is the quality of this game, though. Stunning shit!!!

    @Yakumo
PS2-cases have certain characteristics such as the Memory Card holder, which DVD-cases don't. But Shinobi is an awesome game. Hard as nails, but I enjoyed playing through it (until I gave up). Kunoichi is another story... I heard it's not as good, but maybe you can tell more about it once you get to play? Mine is still sealed... bought it for actual gaming around 6 years ago, but well.... :p

Later PS2 cases don't have memory card holders, so it isn't a big loss really.

Replacements will still lack the Playstation logo inside them though.

I picked up a few games for my Gamecube collection over the holidays all complete with manuals, I found Super Monkey Ball and Virtua Striker 2002 for only 25p each in a charity shop :D and the used game shop in town sells most gamecube games for £2.50 for less so this helps.

I made a quick search on ebay for Metal Gear Solid because I have not added anything to my MGS collection for a long time now and this had just been listed for a few minutes so I snapped it up right away :)
sealed MGS2 this is the black box version that came bundled with a PS2.

Doesn't bother me at all in the slightest. I'd rather have nice shinny high quality DVD cases minus the PlayStation logo and Memory card holder than official grubby or scratched cases :)

Kind of neglected my PSP over the last... few years, so I got some games for that, last week or so. Nothing special, tho:

And here's where running ISOs on the system bites me in the ass: I downloaded Digimon there sometime last year and played it for a while, but now the real UMD doesn't recognize the saved data created via the ISO. Six or seven hours of gameplay down the drain, unless I keep playing the game using the ISO image...

It should work just fine as long as the iso you are running is the same region as the UMD you have. So if you had been playing with a PAL iso then you would need to use the PAL UMD. Make sure the game IDs match up with the save data and you should be all set.

EDIT: I have experience with this exact issue because I used to play star wars with the UMD but then my disk drive burnt up so I had to switch to using an iso to play it.

Well, I guess I could've been clearer about what happens exactly. The game recognizes that there's saved data - including showing the icon, last saved date, play time, player name, etc. -, but refuses to load the data saying (presumably, because I suck at kanji) that loading failed and that the data is damaged. UMD and ISO are of the same region - the only region the game was released in, Japan - and the IDs match up, too. In fact, the save game I just created via the UMD even "stacks" with the others, its folder getting named "NPJH50588SaveData02", after "NPJH50588SaveData00" and "NPJH50588SaveData01". Maybe it's some encryption thing or whatever, I dunno...

Edit, that said, the K-ON! game I had also tried out for a bit in ISO form a long time ago, and that saved data loaded up and worked fine using the UMD.

That's a shame :( I would poke around on google to try and find if there are any workarounds for your problem. Wish I could you, sorry!
