Some great bargains there. I can't seem to find ICO & Shadow of the Colossus for any less than £20 in the UK. I'm usually pretty good at finding deals to :/ been looking around for months but no one seems to put it's price down

Bought 2 of these. Exactly what it says on the tin, they aren't just cases though, they are enclosures and good ones at that. Assembly isn't too difficult. 8 screws, they are small and it comes with a free driver but I used my own driver. Surprisingly the screws didn't strip, it even came with a small furry pouch that I probably won't be using, but all in all they're fairly sturdy and for £2.38 each I'm happy.

Also bought The Sims 2: Festive Holiday Stuff for £3.

Cyantist, i suggest that you "test" those enclosures. Copy a 1GB file or any big zipped file to it and then compare the copied file with HashCalc. If there's any difference, the enclosure hw somehow corrupted the file. (Don't forget to restart the computer to clear the RAM, before checking the copied file on the external HD).

I heard a lot of bad things about those enclosures, mostly being that the majority of them don't make fully exact file copies that would later end up getting corrupt. Something about the JMicron controller.

''Mommy, people on the internet don't like me''.

Let me just go and cry over your hurtful words, my skin isn't thick enough to survive the verbal barrage of insults you just threw at me. It's going to take me months to digest your sagacious comments.

Face it, if you said something and then somebody commented on what you said with ''I just want to punch people who..'' and you were one of those people, wouldn't you be annoyed?

No, I'm not the worst new member of 2012 however if you're going to mail me an award I'll happily take it and sell it.

Maybe I did complain but do you know what's utterly pointless? Complaining about people complaining.

I really don't care what any of you think of me, it's the internet.

You're calling me out for being a ''keyboard warrior'' yet ironically, being one yourself in retort.

I couldn't care less if you thought I am 10 years old, you can also have a guess at my weight and height if you want because all three hold the same amount of water on the Internet.

Furthermore, I applaud most of you who have the reading comprehension skills beyond that of a 12 year old. It seems to me that most people read one line and don't read your posts prior to it and base their ''insults'' upon that.

I was insulted first, so I retaliated, I fear no consequences on a mere communication-platform.

Anyway read my posts prior to my initial one, I'm not going to quote it for you, you're the lackey here now do the legwork.

@ Galdius - Very nice! How often does LA get exclusives these days? Seems to me that it's a market companies have really woken up to the last few years.

@ DanteDark - What a load of butthurt, bless.

It isn't very often, sadly. At least here in Brazil, what happens sometimes is that companies are translating some games to portuguese. This year we had one game that didn't got to the US that was Saint Seiya. It had all texts translated to portuguese, but not the VA.

And about the brazilian market, it is growing and Ubisoft told that Assassins's Creed III sold more than 200k units before Christmas. It was way more than I thought a game here could sell through the official channels. Btw, ACIII costs arounds US$75 here, but it is usual to buy other games for US$80-100.

lol @ dantedark. I see you have made a few friends already ;)

    A few points worth mentioning.

This is the post every time you buy or trade thread where people share and discuss their recent acquisitions, not the lack of them. A post stating that you are not buying or trading anything has no real place here, unless of course it is part of a post with a recent purchase or trade item.

Whilst I would personally agree that auction sniping is lame and if people have a price they are prepared to pay they should be up front about it, this is the post every time you buy or trade thread. If you got sniped, then again you didn't buy or trade so your tirade has no place here, it belongs in the countless number of bitching about eBay threads where it will be argued to toss and ultimately nothing will be solved because we live in a world of different moralities.

Again, this is the post every time you buy or trade something thread. If you find something with an amusing price on eBay which you didn't buy or trade, it doesn't belong here, it probably belongs in the eBay hall of shame thread or elsewhere.

Also, if you keep rubbing people up the wrong way and then inviting them to give you a slap, not only will you find your stay here cut considerably short, but one day someone will and you may find you do not like it. Not everyone is cut out to be a glutton for punishment or even a massochist! You'd find people here a lot more welcoming of you and your views if you took the big FUCK OFF sign off your forehead and stopped looking for trouble and picked your battles more wisely.

    ---

In other news, I recently signed up for an LG Nexus 4.

I've had my Motorola Defy+ for around 6 months now, it was my introduction to android OS, but without rooting it I'm limited to Gingerbread. I quite fancy turning my hand to app development and I'd also like to have a decent handset to boot, plus my contract just came up for renewal, so I figured bugger it, why not? hehe

I still haven't been browsing so much but it is pay day on Wednesday so I'll be able to order a replacement mouse and right click again, that is until I spill another cup of tea on it -_-

Brings back memories...Alex Kidd was my first ever game purchase for my new Sega Genesis system way back in 1990.
I remember spending weeks playing Altered Beast and Alex Kidd on my shiny new 16-bit machine.

I'd never actually played Alex Kidd on the Mega Drive before. It's quite tough but still fun to play.
