why? i had this on ps2 but the disc didnt play was faulty, it was cheaper on xbox so i got it on xbox for a grand total of £1.50

Why? more violent bloody vampire killin sexy goodness this was more expensive at £5

also arrived: some caps and resistors for the atari 2600 jr. still waiting on: some pots and a xbox controller.

Well I just had Jurassic: Park The Lost World on Megadrive arrive, won for 99p. pretty good deal if you look at amazon/ebay prices.

i get sniped sometimes but theyalways pay more than I want to so I don't care. if someone is willing to pay over the odds then so be it.

i bid my maximum, that's why it's called a maximum

it's like I'm passively bumping up people's auctions.

I still win plenty of auctions for 99p so more fool them!

 

I swear I do want to punch people who whinge that they got snipped. It is quite simple, sniping does not really exist except in the minds of people who think that they deserve to win something at a bargain price. If you are trying to be a cheapskate then people who bid more then you, even at the last minute are going to win. No wins by 50cents or what not, that just happens to be the next highest amount over the 2nd highest bid... People claim that they win lots of auctions by bidding at the last minute but it is very likely you would win even if you didn't.

EBay is shit anyway but it's the only option most people have which is a shame. I love the system Yahoo Auctions in Japan uses. For those who don't know the seller has the option to extend their auction by 5 minutes every time a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the auction. So say there's 3 minutes left on an auction then someone out bids a previous bid, the timer will raise to 8 minutes and will keep doing that as long as a bidding war continues.

It's a real pain in the arse for those bidding since you have to hang around the computer longer but it's fantastic news for the seller, especially when you see your item raise in price time and time again.

I often see people who have placed a bid seconds before I sniped the auction. That, or they try and snipe, but are beaten by my proxy
