Picked up the Majora's Mask edition New Nintendo 3DS.

Didn't need to pre-order, pay scalpers or anything either, I just walked into my local game store this afternoon and bought one. And it actually cost less than Amazon! I love Japan :D Really beautiful system too, just need someone to get a region-free hack for the new 3DS so I can play my Australian games!

Ouch. I'm always worried about dead pixels when I buy a handheld, since it's really difficult to return them. Had a good run with Nintendo handhelds so far, no dead pixels. Had a friend with one on his DS Lite a few years back.

Yep same here. I only have had my DS with a dead pixel. Other than that, been pretty clear so far. My Zelda 3DSXL has a buckled touchscreen bezel but isn't noticeable unless pointed out.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the 3D+ on the new 3DS. It does indeed keep the 3D in focus when you move your head. I was amused that in the test you can tilt your head and the little avatar tilts his head too :D I also enjoy covering up one eye, the 3DS has no idea what to do :p The hinge is isn't near as floppy as the 3DSXL and has a more solid "snap" when you open it up.

    Some new and some retro.
Knights of the Temple for GameCube which brings me to 403 of 447 PAL GameCube games all complete boxed with instructions, only 44 to go for a complete set :)
Also 2 compies of Class of Heroes 2G for PS3, this may become really hard to find in the future as less than 3000 where made and only through pre-sales from the developers website for a short period of time, it was never sold in stores.

102 brand new unused PAL GameCube cases, good to swap with games I have with cracked and badly scuffed cases.

Figured that these will be the best time to get this babies, when they still available before EOL or before price start climbing upwards.

For those who are keen, the Nintendo 3DS XL RETRO NES EDITION is shipped with the firmware below. Its Gateway friendly and can be downgraded to 4.2 if required.

Those NES edition consoles look so nice. I still like the GBA SP version of this better, but these are beautiful nonetheless.

Bought a Pikachu rumble U figure for £4. A good deal in itself until it arrived and I realised the seller messed up and sent me a SHINY pikachu figure worth £60.

The -1 on the manual means just manual revision. To check if the actual game is different you have to look at the cartridge. There should be pressed number and letter. Something like 01A or 05B. The number is not important, but the letter mean game version/revision. "A" for the first version/revision could be 1.0 or 1.5 and "B" then will be 1.1 or 1.6, but you can only get the rom version when you dump the cartridge. The another way how to check the game version is open the game and check the nintendo numbers on the rom chip itself.

Picked up a boxed black GameCube in very nice condition for the princely sum of ¥1. No complaints here. It is missing the controller, but I already have one.

I would have considered it, but they announced it like at the exact same time they announced the New 3DS XLs, and it's not the New.

But anyways, I finally found the one Amiibo I've been looking for for ages.

I'll probably get Pac Man when he comes out, but of the announced ones it's the only other one I'm interested in.

Two new Xbox One games today. Evolve Asian version that comes in a nice card slip case and with no crappy age ratings on the packing. One main point why I love the Asian releases. And Screamride, Japanese version.

hmmm that scream ride game looks like it would be all sorts of silly fun. I could be mistaken because next thing you know it aint all that great of a game, but wouldn't know because I don't have a XBONE.

It's actually good fun but not for the actual riding of the roller-coaster. I like smashing the buildings the most. It's kind of strategic in a way. The main draw of the game though is the sandbox area where you can make your very own theme park! I'm loving this section more than the actual game.
