I so lucked out a few months ago and found one in pretty good shape for $15 at a thrift store. It will be my main when I rehook up all my stuff.

I did not need a stepdown since I just used a us gamecube power cable for it, thanks its a xbox 360 blanket from kelloggs cereal I usually use it for all my pictures

 

Started off the day with a few inexpensive items I used bday gift card to aquire, arriving at my door. (pleasently surprised Halo 2 had all original content)
and then later today...My Omega finaly arrived! Came in late and it's wifes B-Day, so not a lot of time to play. Hoping to get some quality time in this weekend.

A few nights ago I was browsing through craigslist looking for things and a post caught my eye "Original XBOX Development Kit CONSOLE - $100" so I sent the guy an email even though the post had been up for a few days already. Luckily he still had it although he said he didn't have the cables to test if it worked. I managed to pick it up yesterday and it worked fine, sadly the HDD was empty except for a few mix cd's burned to it, there is also a bunch of sticker residue on a few places on it. It also looks like it has been opened before since the stickers on the bottom were cut open to reveal the screws.

 

It does run a XDK Launcher right?

What's that Master System item, Johnny?

I've known about this game for 30 years or so but always thought it was a shitty RPG. Thanks to Game Sack I found out its not a bad side scrolling action platformer. Looks bad mind you.

 

It's a book that was recently released here in Brazil. It's 224 pages long, but it's dimensions are almost similar to a Master System game case. It's made by the same people from the OldGamer magazine, a retrogaming magazine sold here. It's very cheap too, 40 Reais.

Damn fine price considering how rare this system is and that it's almost free from yellowing save for a bit on the back panel. What madman decided that light colors would be a great choice for consoles being sold in a tropical country with a strong sun, I'll never know.
