Bough a Galaxy Geforce GTX750 Ti for my new emulation PC I'm building. Basically Galaxy make Nvidia's cards. So this is just an Nvidia card without the name meaning it was very cheap. I know PC gaming snobs will say it's a low powered card but I don't care, this is for emulation not playing high end PC titles.

The PC I'm using is a HP Elite i5 running at 37Ghz with 8GB ram. It only cost 10,000 yen. I love how everything in this computer clips together. No screws at all. It's so modular and works amazingly well. If only all computers were built like this.

They've gone overkill on the USB ports! 9 in total!! 4 on the front and 5 on the back. Perfect for emulation.

Here in California I've picked up (all Japanese import) PaRappa The Rapper 2, Beatmania for the PS1, a complete and boxed DSi system, it even has the foam to cover the system still. And then I just picked up a US copy of Need For Speed on the PS4 for $25. That's the highest price I wanted to pay for that, just to see how it is.

That's a very cool box :D And by the way the GTX750TI is not low powered at all, it's a very good videocard. Heck, i'm still rocking my GTX560.

Since you're not really a PC gamer and i guess have no plans on going higher than 1080p, it's fine. I'm sure it'll be a great Emulation PC. Hope it helps making your videos as well.

Isn't it :) I buy a lot of PC parts from this company. They're kind of a discount dealer in Japan that buys western stock in bulk then repackages them always with that guys face on the box, hahaha. Prices are cheap because there's no Japanese literature with them. That doesn't bother me though :D

No, I'm not a PC gamer but out of interest could this card run the Witcher III high spec than a Xbox One or PS4? Both Witcher III and Metal Gear V are advertised when installing the drivers.

As for an emulation system this should kick ass. Ran Model 3 emulation yesterday at a solid 60fps at 1080p Very happy.

It's great it was cheap. I was planning to upgrade my current PC (i5 2500K + GTX560) but decided to wait. Since i rarely play newer PC games, it's ok for now. The economy crashing certainly doesn't help. The next time i'll spend money i'll probably build a brand new system.

I'm hoping for a decent deal on a new monitor though. Wanted an Asus, but they're still too expensive here. Will probably have to go with another LG, just because of the IPS panel.

As for the Witcher III, probably runs like the console or a bit more stable.

But like i imagined, it'll be a perfect emulation PC. Looking forward to more videos.

Oh wow, this card can run the the Witcher III as good as the consoles? Man, didn't know it was that powerful. This should make for an excellent emulation system. Just building up MAME at the moment. Over 2000 working ROMs so far.

I thought you guys got cool boxes with your graphic cards? What I found funny is that this card was packed like some mega expensive apple product :p

Got 5 PC games on clearance for about $2-3 each. Tera, Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2, Stronghold Crusader 2, World of Simulators (literally 20 games in one) and Crimes and Punishments of Sherlock Holmes (didn't that come out this summer?)

It really is! Been playing most of the day. Don't know what you mean about a rip off I'm not aware of anything like it ;)

Toning it down since there's a game show coming in a week and wanting to save my $. Got really lucky finding WOTM and Stubbs in cheap game lots. Ended up being $2 a game and both of those are getting pricey and a little harder to find. Excited to find a case that fits my street fighter round 1 and 2 Kidrobot figures and got a few peripherals for much cheaeper than they usually run..although, they arent expensive to begin with admittedly.

New monitor for my home computer. It was pratically 50% off during the black friday weekend.

Previously had a 19", upgraded to a 23". Was planning to get an Asus, but they're still to expensive around here.

No, it's not 4k or ultrawide 21:9. Still cost too much money and i have no need for that yet.

I picked up a Samsung 4k monitor last year for about $400. You'd think for that price there'd be some sort of caveat or hidden problem but the only one I found is that to go above 30hz you need to use displayport instead of HDMI (not a problem). Yes, its expensive for a monitor but its one of the best purchases I've made. 4k is just that fucking awesome. It feels good to be able to tell people I have one too since it really is on the bleeding edge.

I'm sure it's great, but not my main focus right now. The cheapest 4k monitor around here costs 600 dollars. I paid 120 for this one, including shipping.

Since my build still runs on an I5 2500k with a GTX560 GPU, it's all good. Whenever i upgrade my computer to something with more power, i might think about a 4k monitor.
