managed to find a wwe'13 prototype disc burned only an hour after the one i had allready (that makes 5 in total)

 

Picked up a few big box PC games recently. One game I've never tried before though :

 

I got a couple things (including a game from supersega here)

 

Hit up Goodwill's and Yard sales this weekend and SUPER stoked to get SFA3 DI for $2! They had it in the Music CD pile at a yard sale. Been trying to fill out the dreamcast fighting library as much as possible lately.

 

Got my "broken" FM Towns Marty in the mail yesterday. Found out the door switch is broken, taped it in place and it loads cd games fine, tested with splatterhouse. The floppy disk drive belt is broken so that will be the next thing I look into. Also need to get a controller for the system so I can play some of the games. Anyone know of a source for cd door switches?

 

Today, I received a copy of Pix'n Love HS #1 by @Ludoscience - a French book that traces the history of the Saturn and PlayStation.

The layout is quite pleasant, quality seems pretty good. It has a cut dust cover. I'll have to brush up on my French to read it properly! It's approximately 115 pages on Saturn, then you flip the book round to read the PlayStation section, which is approximately 150 pages.

At nearly 30 Euros, it's quite an investment... but it seems worth the price. Oh, and it has one of my photos!

This week I found a long-sought after CIB copy of the black box, Korean version of Super Mario World. Despite being a CIB pack-in cart on many consoles and one of the most common loose carts found in Korea, the box eluded me for 2 years. This week I found her:




The pins are so mint that I don't think it's ever even been tested.

 

This came in today, it is for a friend of mine but I am giving it a warm, foster home until I can take it to him.

Not massive deals, but I snagged the Modern Mario Super Mario Maker Amiibo at Wal-Mart (ugh) for the regular price, and 2 Dreamcast games (Confidential Mission and Looney Tunes Space Race) for $8 each.

 

New resident evil game launch, new standee into my collection. Going to run out of storage place soon!

 

I am very excited to have scored all 6 of the original Rockman's. Have to do until I can afford to fill out the rest of my NES/SNES MegaMan collection.

Then this weekend I went to a huge flea market and between some buried finds and a wonderful vendor who really cut me some deals I was able to get the items in the other picture. Halo controller to go with my Halo xbox, with memory card was $5 , there's even a few games (not shown) that the vendor threw in for free and all told I got everything from her for about 50% off the low price on VGG.

Going back next weekend for sure, since I gave her a list of games i'm looking for. She said she's had Conkers bad fur day with perfect lables before a few times and lets ithem go for about $70.

 

It was a good day today for wanted games and hacks. I don't like going to Ebay or Etsy and tend to like yard sales, goodwill, flea markets etc. but..you're not going to find things like Reggie's Radical Adventure and Japanese Saturn games there!

I was hoping for RRA in purple but after months of looking, no one was selling. Very happy to see the cart arrive black vs grey as shown in pic. and yes, He has Reggie's permission to sell them.

Only 2 games away from my "firefighter game collection" but unfortunately Burning Rangers doesn't have a booklet, so if anyone would like to sell a spare one..i'm here!

 

I still need to grab a copy of Deep Fear, there's a European release (it was the last game there) but it's stupid expensive.

 

Bought some magic foam from Amazon with pre-cut squares, a few minutes later and voila! My desk drawer now securely holds some of my handhelds

I realized it doesn't look like it, lol, but I made holes for all the handhelds and they fit firmly, will take more clear pics and share.
