I'm not even sure this is getting a western release. Tempted to import it even at $60 at least it's a physical copy and I would be interested in an xbox one japanese exlcusive. Part of the reason I am still holding out on darius burst for ps4, $60 a lot for digital only version I know steam version is cheaper but I'd rather play it on a console. I am surprised microsoft scored this exclusive considering how dead the system is in japan.

 

I still have hopes that Darius Burst gets a PS4 physical release. I'll never understand why they only released a physical copy for the Vita.

 

I'm thinking about importing that because I wouldn't be surprised if the US version is download only. For a country with crummy internet (comparatively), we sure get download only stuff a lot.

I picked up the Pokemon New 3DS that came out in the US. It's pretty spiffy. Took two tries to get the transfer done, but it plays Smash a lot better.

 

Nice! The wonder Swan Crystal goes for quite a big price these days.

 

Honestly, I'd call this more of an "good" deal than an unbelievable one. I wanted an applied systems dvd emulation card to go along with my DVT4 xbox. I found a seller on alibaba selling them for $20 usd each with a MOQ of 3 and a seller from china on ebay with three available at $160 a piece. I figured it was probably the same person so I made an offer on the ebay listing for $20. Got counter-offered for $59. I made another offer for $30 and finally settled with the sellers offer of $35 + ~30 for shipping.

I requested to buy all three at a lower price with combined shipping but I never got a message back.... I'd guess due to language barriers. When I finally purchased one, the listing ended (Maybe I misread that there were 3 available). All in all, I'm happy with the price of $65 USD for one.

Yes, indeed! Although not very happy with the price, I got this one close to €100 inc. EMS shipping from Japan.

Couldn't let it pass since it looks like all other SwanCrystals go for quite much more on eBay at least.

 

Transfer? are you able to transfer your digital games from an old console to new? or was that referring to something else

 

Nope, that's what you do. You can't just put the SD card in (especially because the New 3DS, despite being larger than the old 3DS, only has MicroSD), so it uses local internet to copy the files from one system to the other. It took a long time (at least an hour each time) and my old 3DS disconnected itself during the last step (which is actually just moving the Nintendo Network ID to the new system, since you can't have 2 3DSes have the same Network ID (which is dumb, but this is Nintendo)). Luckily they have apparently made it easier since the New 3DS XL launched in the US, so I could just redo the entire thing instead of having two bricks.

Yakumo, does Raiden V have English HUD options? I saw your uploaded videos and the conversation logs and some other stuff on the HUD are all in Japanese.

 

4 years later, I can finally try this. Technically had this for a long time since the Vita version was free for PS+ long ago, but I lack a Vita.

Yesterday at a gamefair i found some Videopac prototypes

Games are , Qbert, Musician, The great wallstreet fortune hunt and Terrahawks.
The roms are another Terrahawks and a game i dont know , all the other roms appear to be not working.

 

Conker CIB and the guy even had his original reciept. After tax it was $68.00 back then! Now my "Everything conker was in collection" is finaly complete.

Also scored Kuon for PS2 ( real pricey nowadays, & I pictured earlier in thread) and Street Fighter Alpha 2 for Saturn at the flea market, a package deal for 1/2 what i've seen them sell for online. Both CIB and no cracks or anything on the saturn case. That's hard to find in the wild nowadays!

 

Found an amazing gem the other day. RGB modded PC Engine Core Grafx ! It was in awful condition though so a deep clean was in order.

The pad was thick with brown crap from the years of sweaty hands. Time for a good soapy wash.

The finished image is wonderful. So happy to have this after my Turbo Duo died. All I have at the moment is Kalax as it came with the console. Brand new copy mind you. I've ordered an official Everdrive (No Chinese knock off here) from a store here in Japan which should arrive tomorrow.

 

You going to try and get a cd unit for it?

 

Nope, they always break. I've had 4 duo / turbo duo units in the past with all breaking. They really are made like crap.

 

Does the Turbo Everdrive let you play the CD games though?

 

My pc engine duo surprisingly still working fine only thing I had to have done to it was cap replacement. I hear burned games are the big culprit cause if you don't burn an exact copy and there are gaps it wears down the laser a bit. Surprising my Japanese model 1 mega cd is more stable.
