Great score then! It will be good to see what's on them and if the data is good.

When you said pocket change I was thinking $50-100! Sounds like it was a little more than that, but either way nice to pick up so a huge lot in one go.

I will definitely post about the data if there is interest and maybe release it if theres no legal or financial reason why I shouldn't. I think the scene suffers mostly because people don't share but if the price was right I would sell it just because I would like to offset the cost a bit. Also if its not an interesting build then I won't do it.

By the way does anyone know how to find debug menus? I assume if I decrypt the XEX and open it with IDA the debug symbols may point me in the right direction right? Or do people just do it the poor mans way and try bruteforce?

Another good flea market day! I had the overlays for these Vectrex games from last weeks trip. Really good prices and had a few things thrown in for free like the Sega CD Backup. fleamarket.jpg

That TDEV is very cool. I always thought it would be neat to own one. They were originally used for university programming courses right?

Another one for the Ridge Racer V team.

By the way, that music game / software for the DC would make an interesting retrocore video. On the subject, there's a PlayStation episode under development? Have to send you some suggestions later on. :D

PS: Those protectors sleeves are really interesting. Might have to check if i can find them around here.

I onc had the Dreamcast midi interface cable that goes with O. TO. I. RE. but no longer do. It's incredibly rare these days. In fact it was rare when it was new.

Yep, I am doing a PlayStation Retro Core in the future :) it won't be the next show but will arrive in January.

I just got RR V at a Restore (run by Habitat for Humanity, they mostly have furniture) and a few PC games for a buck each.

Also got The Tomb Raider Trilogy for PS3, Wrestlemania XIX, Home Run King and a PS1 game I can't remember at Buybacks yesterday, because I needed to get a couple discs cleaned.

And I bought an ASCIIpad for the Dreamcast, it should be here sometime by Christmas!
