Well my hoodie from Japan finally showed up. Ended up being $60 shipped. Even though it's a Japanese xtra large fits a bit snug considering I'm medium. Still pretty happy about it and feels quite good to wear. Pic is from my Instagram post featuring some Sega love.

Found what I thought was an original Ball Game and Watch in excellent condition, still had the battery tag! Then whilst I was waiting delivery I had a closer look and discovered that it was a rerelease from Club Nintendo.

Ho hum, still, got a bargain (40USD) and it is rare, just not as rare as I thought it was.

Also finally managed to get the Famicom version of Bionic Commando, so all good. Will post pics when they turn up.

These New Ball Game and Watch are indeed pretty close to the old ones.

About Bionic Commando, sad that the western version has been sensored.

Yeah one of the very few differences I could spot was that the battery door is in a different place and the Club Nintendo comes with a cardboard stand.

The Bionic Commando I've wanted for a long while and it's price seems to be slowly rising over the last 6 months or so I've spent watching them, so I just thought 'sod it' and pulled the trigger on one from yamatoku.

Well, I didn't plan on buying any games while over in the UK but today we went down to the local Sainsburys and found a few deals. Fallout 4 and Doom were both 14.99 however dead raising 4 was full price at 49 pounds. Still, that's 10 pounds cheaper than I'd pay in Japan.

My brother got me this for Christmas. Now I'll finally be able to get the Japanese alpha build up and running that's on my 360 demo kit from Disney Japan.

Also found my original 1994 copy of Street Fighter Turbo for the Super Famicom while visiting my parents in the UK. I remember paying 60 pounds for this way back in '94. And look, it still looks mint even now.

Most used copies don't even include the lineup flyer catalog. Me personally I would actually take extra care with my imports back then. Though any time I let a friend barrow an import game they'd always scratch it up which really blew.

Try and be patient. It took almost 3 weeks to get my sd2snes. Shipping from Ukraine is just super slow. I mean my package was literally sitting in one of their post offices for a week!!!! I still remember how slow Canadian shipping use to be. Sometimes it would almost take 2 months to get your package!

Sadly not. My dad threw out a lot of my stuff including a few hundred floppy discs. I had 4 builds of Star Fox 2 that could never be played back in the day. I was hoping to retrieve them but sadly they were gone.

I dont think they were unique builds of Starfox 2. There are a few different builds if you ignore the latest of them.

I finally picked up a copy of Jet Grind Radio. I gave up on finding it for under $20, and also I'd bought the soundtrack already.

Also got NASCAR Heat 2002 for a dollar.

Probably not but we'll never know. There were other items as well on floppy that I've not seen available on the net. We were really into the Bulletin Boards on the old Dial up back then. The type where you had to call a number. There were also some cool tech demos that a friend of mine (last worked on forza horizon) such as the PlayStation Destruction Derby car textured and rotating on a standard SFC with no helper chips. The car had no wheels mind you :p
There was also a version of Run Sabers that had the geisha girl boss which was changed to a skeleton in the final release.
