My trusty 21 Toshiba CRT TV died after 12 years of good service. =/ RIP.

To replace it i just ordered a Samsung 32F5500. Had a very good price for it's size and on top of that i still used a discount coupon that made it cheaper than a 26' LCD.

 

Bought a brand new Hori Analogue Sindou Pad 2. Finally a real D-Pad with variable turbo and analogue sensitivity settings. Best of all it feels really nice in the hand. Quality as always from Hori.



and 4 Hori PS2 memory cards for 400 yen. Not bad at all.

 

Those silver/clear memory cards look sweet

 

I told you would like a HORI or a Logitech 3rd party controllers to replace the DualShock 2. =]

 

Last year I got a rare Blockbuster Virtual Boy hard case for $15 from a retro game store down the street from me. Def best find ever for me.

 

They actually do them in many colours too. I saw an auction for 10 of those shinny cards including 5 or so colours. They really looked nice but I don't have any need for so many cards plus the asking price was a bit steep at 3800 yen.

Yep, you were right. I can now actually play Thunder Force 6 better. I love the feel of the buttons on the Hori. They feel nice and clicky. Even the D-Pad does.

bought this game for a total of $4 ( plus shippings costs of $12 to the uk from america)
its in mint unopened sealed condition and i just saw the very exact same game on ebay.com for $418 dollars im sure i got a little bargain !!!!

 

Not even a PAL sealed Conker Live and Reloaded would be $418, that's just a dickhead's price...

 

Now here's a surprise. I ordered Metal Gear Rising from Amazon Japan and they sent me Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z as well. I'd actually ordered this months ago and had forgotten all about it. Apparently it was released today.

The big Kirby is my sons. He's a massive Kirby fan and was delighted when he won this at a carnival stall this afternoon.

 

Two new SFC games arrived through the post today. Votoms and Psycho Dream. Psycho Dream is brand new and came from a Toy Shop selling off all it's dead stock. The insides are immaculate however the box was covered in that typical Japanese mould caused by humidity. I've managed to clean most of it off however that crap can't be removed 100%.

My first Debug Kit, yay! Sadly the previous owner replaced the original HDD (yuck!).
Dunno if I'll mod it or just replace the case (which is pretty scratched and dirty).

 

Got a sega cd model 2 with a non tmss genesis for 10$ and i got dino crisis, sonic adventure, virtual on, evolution, and code veronica for 50$
tomorrow im trading a snes with 5 games for a model 1 sega cd, sonic cd, and mario 3

 

Pick up some pre-owned Xbox360 controllers and farcry collection on the PC and for the PS3 the bioshock series,latest gundam VS full boost and adding GT6 promo into my collection.

E-SWAT my first game on the Medgadrive Christmas 1990 so many memories... gosh I'm old... grrr...

 

It's been a few months since I took photos of new pickups so that's why there's a fair bit of stuff.

These ps1 games plus a mint GT I gave to a mate who loves that series for $15. They were gonna charge three bucks a game so I halved the pile after which the senior employee offered me that package deal. Bartering at an op shop... don't feel bad at all tbh wasn't the first time & won't be the last. All the discs are scratch free too.



Most of these ps3 titles were $4-20 except the PSN disc with Tokyo Jungle on it which was more like 30 since US shipping is expensive now.



Some cheap second hand titles and new full priced stuff, no regrets far as Puyo Puyo Tetris or Miku goes but Shin Koihime Musou is dodgy as shit imo so a bit of buyers remorse there.



These handheld titles aside from Senran Kagura were $5-20.
