Maybe not exactly unbelievable, but I thought it was a pretty good deal nonetheless:

    GBA SP AGS-101 w/ac adaptor
Rockman Xtreme (complete but signs of wear)
    Pokemon Firered (Original)
    + some other games

Together only $45 from craigslist. :)

The black cartridge is a 50-in-1 cart with a ton of older NES-games (Tennis, DKJ Math, Arabian etc).

I wanted to get an AGS-101 since the summer, so I brought a bunch of GB/GBA games in hindsight of finding one. The GBA-fest can begin!!

I picked up a Dreamcast/cords/controller/VMU for 2 dollars even at the military thrift shop. The old woman working there asked me if it was a phone.
It also had a burned CD-R game in it. I believe it was NFL 2K or something

    My best deals...

The xbox was free, had a bad drive and fixed that, paid 30 bux for a region and av modded turbo, then 100 dollars for the cd add-on in the case, then bought the arcade card pro for 20 bux on ebay some years ago, the famicom and disk system i bought for dirt cheap too, spent like less then 100 total for that, and bought like over 26 fds games for like 10 bux from canada :), the pc engine i bought for 5 bux not working, just had a bad fuse... need to clean the stuff up though, looks too damn dusty, but the turbo grafx is my pride and joy! its served me so well over the years... lol[IMG][IMG]

So I'm up in the Albany (NY) Area (about 3 hours from my house in NYC ) for a training class 1st thing in the morning today I wrap up around noon . I walk into a local Goodwill to see if I land anything good just some over priced used ps3 and 360 games. But I remember seeing a post for a retro video game store on Craigslist in the area . I look it up real quick get the address and make my way over . I pull up in front and its not a video game but a Thrift Store the local mom and pop kind. I check out the video game section they have tons of crap old PS games Sega Wii DS GBA Etc etc etc... Nothing good but old crappy sports games etc. But i look up on the top shelf which is eye level and they have some sytems bagged in a light grey trash bag with white hand written stickers.... a PS2 Silm Silver for $50 ...a Sega Gen Model 2 for $30 ..... and the last one under it all said NES $50 ... I almost walked away from it thinking it was another over priced NES-001... to cut the chit chat short .. I end up walking out of there with this bad boy for $38. No DogBone just a reg controller with all the hook ups.

I've had some good luck these past few weeks at goodwill and value village.
Picked up 2 NESs, a SNES, a Gen. 2 Genesis, Dreamcast, fat PS2, and Gamecube. They all work and each came with all the cables, 1 or 2 controllers and were $10-$20 each.
Also found a 20" Dell IPS monitor that worked for $20.
Best find so far was my Dakota controller for $3 though, haven't topped that yet.

I found a playstation 1002 with controller, cords and a grey memery card for $5 AUD! It needs a bit of care but it runs! I also found a playstation 9002 with controller, in immaculate condition at the same place for the same price!

Not really a purchase but was checking out some video game price charts for PS2 games and found out that my girlfriends CIB copy of .hack Quarantine is worth a pretty penny.

Why exactly? I imagine with the GFX card your running some kind of dedicated game server? but fan mods? Dell's server line can always be praised for the air flow [no doubt somebody will come in and name a model that is infamous for shit temps], it aint quiet, but its effective
