It sure is a great game. Maybe better than the arcade game?

Here are some of my recent (ish) acquisitions. Vectorman is a duplicate; I just saw it for $4 and thought it couldn't hurt to have an extra, just in case. :] Eternal Darkness is also kind of a duplicate; my friend's brother let me borrow his copy, and then I saw this copy and decided to buy it. Some of these I haven't even played yet. Also, my friend let me borrow his copy of Earthbound the other day, but I left my SNES power adapter at home, so I'm unable to play it until my dad sends me the power supply.

Which strider? The new remake or original Mega Drive version? My Japanese version of the Mega Drive game has English Options but Japanese story. It maybe one of those games that changes language when played on certain consoles. Quite a few MD games do that.

Some new SFC and PS2 buys over the last two weeks.

    SFC games are:
Xardion - Complete crap level up style platformer but for some reason I play it.
Hana No Keiji - Interesting but hard 2D 1 on 1 fighter
    Battletech - 3D mech action
Final Fight Guy - Super mint condition complete with CD. ONLY 780 yen!! That's a fraction of what it normally goes for.

    PS2 games:
Complete Project Zero (also known as fatal Frame) series - excellent horror games.
Macross (Sega AM2 game) - great 3D shooter.
Wangan Midnight Run - basically Shutokou Battle and a great version however it's missing the killer soundtrack from the 2nd and 3rd games.

A friend of mine gave me the single to Fright Night as she knew I loved the movie however I never had a record player so today for 600 yen I bought a pretty nice Audio -Technica deck. Sure, it's no audiophile player but it's not half bad. The lid is on the other side of the room.

Have an audio technica turntable myself and must say quality is good. Best option if you want a good quality cheap turntable. Honestly new wave music on vinyl sounds insane! Mini soundtrack for final fight any good?

Yeah, the sound out of the player is pretty good. I'm very happy with it.

The Final Fight Guy CD is OK but its not a patch in the Mega CD sound track that's for sure.

I don't see why not. Remake allows japanese menus and text in USA.

Not sure which model this Audio Technica is, but I've listened to some and while the sound is up to "OKAY" depending on what cartridge you use, the main problem is the extreme lightweight of the player. It's made from plastic afterall, and there's a reason why high quality turntables are very heavy.

Got Star Fox 64 for about $10 (a good price in Brazil) and a DualShock-like controller for PC for $7.

Just got one today. I went to my local thrift store, and they had everything half off (easter sale). So they had an original Xbox for $20 ($10 after the markdown) with no cables or anything. I've been looking for one to mod, either softmod or with a chip (that's for another time), so I bit, $10 for an Xbox, especially since I'm not against cracking it open to fix it, that's impulse buy territory.

So, I take it home, hook it up (using the cables from my original original one), and turn it on, it works perfectly, excellent. Set the time, even though I'll unplug it again, then I hear something after setting the time...

There was a copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2 just sitting in the disc tray.

So a working Xbox and a $20-30 game for $10.

Of all things Gamestop had the scarce USA Wii version Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. With box/manual, no soundtrack. :(
