Just bought a big lot of stuff from a local dude. 140$

Some of it is tested ( working) , some is untested.

not bad. Looks a bit dirty but after a clean up should be quite nice. Score on the Vic 20 by the way. Classic computer.

Yeah, not bad. But compared to the dude who got Earthbound and Chrono trigger in a 15$ Snes lot the page before. It is pretty average, I am jelly :p

I was looking to get an Atari 2600, this is how I saw this cheap Atari 2600 lot for sale, called the dude, talked a bit and he told me he had other things.

The dude used to sell game stuff but he stopped around 2007. So this stuff was basically collecting dust in his basement and he needed to clean up :p
All consoles are pretty good cosmetic condition, just dirty as you said, and the dude was smoker so they smell a little, but very little scratches.

The two Saturns are the early model with oval buttons and they both work great. Most of the asking price, like 100$, was for Saturn lot + Boxed Vic 20 lot, as all was tested working.
The rest of the lot is untested and I got it for very cheap.
One of the genesis 2 is a VA3 3/4 motherboard and it looks spotless under the dust it is like new. I checked the motherboard, interior is also spotless and has the Sony encoder inside, which makes it one of the more ''In demand'' model by genesis conoisseurs.

    So Yeah, pretty happy.

Yeah, you can't really complain too much as that lot even if the Atari consoles are all dead. As you said, the Saturn and Vic 20 are worth the bulk of the price and that Sony chip Mega Drive / Genesis is a lucky addition.

Thanks. I am just glad it works okay :).

Well...as long as my girlfriend never finds this post! I'm afraid including shipping and duty from Japan it cost £300.

I remember seeing one of those Aiwa Mega CD stereos in Hard Off over 10 years ago and I still kick myself for not buying it at the stupidly cheap price they had it. I've never seen another one in the wild since then. By the way, is your one missing the Mega Drive attatchment for the bottom of the unit?

Game Boy Pocket (MGB-001) - £8.50 from a seller on Amazon

I did have my doubts when purchased, but really surprised once it turned up. Not a single scratch on the casing or screen :)

Two games and carry case (not mentioned in the listing) also turned up with it.

Can't wait to backlight it :)

I spent an awful lot of money on a PC Engine Duo today and some games. It's not even the best looking Duo-R you would have seen.

But that's not why I bought it. It's what's on the inside which is why I bough this duo-R

Yep, it's been RGB modded and done well too complete with a switch to go from RGB to S-Video to Composite. I'll be keeping it in RGB mode.

When I recently had my pc engine duo repaired person repairing it offered s-video mod (lack rgb in states) but passed cause pc-engine doesn't support it native. Is it that much clearer considering lack of native rgb support?

getting S-Video on your PCEngine would make it look far better than the composite signal as long as a good amp was included in the mod. RGB though is just perfect. This Duo-R looks fantastic in 720p. The pictures don't do it justice at all.

I s-video modded my Turbo grafx 16 and it is awesome, some of the best S-video I have seen, you should have had it done. The composite on those consoles is horrid. S-video is closer to RGB in visual quality than it is to Composite.

Oh I know s-video is did an s-video mod myself for my genesis and it's insane how clear it is. I still can't seem to find proper snes s-video cable that don't have composite spliced in!
