Do you really think the laser would be on while not reading any data? I don't think it would be. The disc motor may spin the disc but I don't think it would have the laser active.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=23253673&postcount=1253 Bitchen... My X2 pays off. LoL. I might check that out tonight (not for the backup manager, my ps3 is 20gb and not in a rush to change that). Might dick around with remote play.
Apropos remote play, now every game supports it, thanks to a new hack http://www.maxconsole.net/content.p...a-way-to-have-PSP-Remote-play-on-ANY-PS3-game
Still waiting for an iPhone port! I know the PSP one has come to a stand still at the moment because they hit a wall. I might just buy one of these http://www.modtraders.co.uk/minimus-avr-usb-development-board.html
Wait, so is this expensive dongle still required? Then people are using their USB devices as... well, what?
Here's the iPhone port (iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 1G only). http://psfreedom.com/w/images/d/d2/Psf-iphone-0.1.tar.gz
...don't have a droid and refuse to buy an ipod touch...damn. I do have a spare psp with custom firmware I figured that would be one of the go to devices! Go figure, my spare ps3 will just have to sit and not get any more updates lol
Says it doesn't support the Backup Manager at the time... still, I'll give it a shot later today! You need iPhoneLinux though, I'll have to install that on mine first.
Just ordered my board for this so I can run PSGROOVE on it now projects are starting to move. Theres a PSP emulator in the works now and the DC one seems to be moving pretty swiftly
well they think they can add psp games B/C there is a folder "pspemu" on nand. this one is probably highly incomplete B/C its ffor the minis but who knows
Are these disc-based emus just running off of iso files? Or can we boot from the disc/backup? Because that would be supreme.
