LoL wow, Sony music hacked. How much longer can this go on? Any more hacks and i'll start taking bets on how long till Stinger resigns.

Still not up. Sony recently noted that it wouldn't be up today like rumored.

Great, mobile and music websites have been hacked now.

I respect hackers, but only hackers that do it to show something or prove a point but don't damage or steal anything. However these hackers are pure utter scumbags ...no... they are dirt...

I guess stealing is the only thing these fat slugs have going for them.

Hackers say they fight for the people for freedom and whatever they say to make them feel what they do is right. But they are causing the exact opposite. Companies will fight more to protect themselves, and what does that mean? It means less privacy and more restrictions.

Good on ya hackers for making the internet even more crap.

According to the Sony blog, they are going to 'aiming to have it live by the end of May':

    http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/05/24/playstation-network-maintenance-later-today/

I find it amusing they called it being up on the 24th 'a popular rumour', when in fact that's the date Sony told PS3 developers it would be up on:

Some do, some don't. That is not a prerequisite of being a hacker. At least not in reality.

The PS Store is back up in the UK  I've spent the past couple of hours getting all my content back on the new slimline

Oh, and there's quite an update to the store too. Platinum the Trinity is finally available for Blazblue :love2:

Edit - The free games are now available on the PS Store for your PS3 and PSP too.

Tried to download the PSP games using Sony MediaGO and couldn't get them. I was trying to avoid having to download them trough the PSP because I wanted to play some games, but I guess that's how it's going to be.

So guys, share your choices...what games did you choose?

If you have problems downloading (80710D36), or the free game tickets don't show for you when you log into PSN (you already clicked to download), try this:

    Select Account Management.
    Select Transaction Management.
    Go to Services List.
You should see the SCEA/SCEE Promotion button. Select this.
Select the ticket for Free Game 1 or 2
    Select Select Content
Select the game you want and download it.

You might still get the too many users error (80710D36), but this method is more reliable when PSN is flooded and you get to select games if you already downloaded the token.

You get 2 free PS3 and 2 free PSP games for each account! So, if you have a US and UK account, you get to pick Rachet and Clank and Super Stardust for example.

Assuming you can get on PSN at all. Took two hours for me to get in to even start downloading, then had to pause/restart the download a few times before it kicked in at any decent speed.

Was online on PSN yesterday without any issues. When i read about the welcome program had started, i knew it would have issues on day one. I'll only try getting the free games it on monday.

You can download, it just might take a few goes as the network is rather busy at the moment.

Super Stardust is great! And I love the changes to Wipeout when you install Fury. The new interface is very cool.

Well done Sony. Killzone Liberation lacks infrastructure mode. Don't know if it lacks the additional 2 hour chapter 5. When you try to download from inside the game it sends you to the Killzone 3 website.

Very disapointed about this, I expected to play online, specially because now there would be a lot of new players joining the game.

You can get those online pretty easily. You don't need to go through the game to download them anymore.

I'm not sure if the Killzone PSP online servers are still running (maybe is if you get your hands on the patches).

Has anyone here with a Hong Kong account been able to get into the HK PSN store? Every time I've tried in the last 4 days it keeps giving me an error message yet some reports say it's online and others say not. Anyone here able to give me a definite answer please?

I got infamous but it was a slow download.
On a side note don't know what my second game should be.
I own lbp and the others don't interest me much.
Maybe I should get some demos... If they exist.

Since this is becoming a Sony bitching thread then let me tell you I'm always disappointed that they don't do like Microsoft and require a demo of EVERYTHING.

I wasted $2.99 on angry birds.
That piece of crap was terrible.

I downloaded Infamous and that other shooter, I forget the name. I haven't bothered to play either of them, though. Too busy with Shenmue.

There aren't demo's of everything on the PlayStation Store for the simple reason that SONY charge companies to host the demo's. Why, Christ alone knows, you'd think they'd have the intelligence to realise that no demo's = reduced sales but since when have SONY showed any signs of intelligence where the PlayStation 3 is concerned?

As far as downloading the free games goes though the US and Euro stores are up and running but has anyone gotten anything from the HK or JPN stores as there's conflicting opinions online as to whether they are operational or not. Every time I attempt to log in I'm told the PSN is undergoing maintenance.
