The PS1 wiring seen in the first image isn't the best work, but the PS2 wins hands down. Nice job!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the PS1 wiring in the first picture.

Interesting, i'm in the UK though I would be interested in a pre modded PS2 machine should you be willing to sort one out. Do these chips allow for multi region on both PSOne & PS2 titles?

    Thanks

dude you should see some of the ones i have come across over the years, absolutely shocking, personally i think the first pic is bang on, short wires, nice and neat and tucked out of the way, perfect

Yes, it will make the system region free.
Since you are in the UK it will best to contact Bad_Ad84 for install service or pre-mods.

It just must be me then. Seeing the chip rotated and not straight is probably why :p

Its also about the only position you can put it so the wires are straight.

I've a modded PAL PS2 fat that seems to be acting up on me. PAL games load just fine, no problem at all. Imports are hit and miss, 1% of the time they will work, other times it's just the red screen of death. It's the modbo 4.0 chip I have I think.

Any ideas what could be up with it? I can get in to the chip menu fine. Would anyone be able to repair the install for me and ship to Ireland?

I've also got an NTSC-U PS2 Slim that has no mod chip but I'd be keen on getting it done.

Thanks if anyone can point me the right way. :)
