Wow, I've got to say those are some impressive pieces of work!

Just seen these. So good. As others have asked, where did you learn to solder like that?

I try to solder everyday if possible. I make a lot of toys and cool LED Gadgets for my 6 Year old.
Always repairing electronics and systems.

 

I'll third that one. When i get bored, i just throw on some music and practice on some dead boards just to keep my soldering skills up to par.

 

Do you know about getting a chipped PS2 repaired? My fat silently quit AV output it would seem.

 

Not sure if I asked before, but can you do an SCPH-10000 DMS3 install? I have the chip already, sourced from assembler a year or two back, but haven't been able to bring myself to do the mod.

Yes, I have modded several V0-V1 so it shouldn't be a problem. You have a compatiable chip which is good.

 

How much would you charge to take a look at a PS1 to see why it can't read disks and hopefully fix it? I ask because it's a DTL-H3000 (Japanese Yaroze), and so it's not something commodity replaceable. =) Orange County, California for shipping.

 

So do I need to send you my PS1 and you mod it? Or are you selling premodded systems?

 

I'm out of pre-mods and only taking systems to be modded

$35 is the cost to get your PS1 modded + return shipping. You have to ship your PS1 to him.
