Yeah because a multi million $$$ out of court settlement sounds like a man trying to prove his innocence...
that same person that caused a stir at Capcom's forums about Mega man 9 is bitching about MJ's Alligations...... and pissing me off.
I just realized that my listening to Prince is me rebelling against all these tributes. Even though like everyone else I agree MJ was the shit.
He consulted with his people and they made that business decision in his best interest. Time will tell for sure. IF he did these things as the years pass we will hear more and more cases of these children telling their stories as they grow older. If we don't hear these new stories (because there is no money in it for the parents) then we know it was all BS.
I personally don't think he did, but I think he was quite stupid for putting himself in a position where it could've been deemed he did.
It's really sad. I thought his newest album 'Invincible' was pretty good, much better than 'Dangerous'. Tracks like Butterflies are truely beautiful (though I know it was a cover). The cases brought against him where never proven to be true - the first he paid off on grounds of bad health and that was to his detriment. There was plenty of evidence to suggest the kid and his father were after his money and lying to get it. The second was proven false in court. It's sadder that he is remembered now for his strange later life and the child abuse allegations. Hopefully those things will fade and all we will be left with was his excellent music.
I just want to point out that all this proves his next career move should have been faking his own death. It's put him on top of the news, all those music videos and songs being played means royalty fees, ofcourse people aren't focusing on negative aspects and are being sympathetic and positive. Seems to me that faking his death would have been a good way to start some kind of come back. Ofcourse in my opinion he'd need to do something to fix his alien looking face. I was not a fan of his at all, infact the first time I probably heard of him was with the first child molesting accusations. While some people I know call him a child molester and don't give a shit that he's dead or are happy he is, I don't think anyone could be sure that is true. People that assume he's guilty for that settlement around 93 makes him guilty but you have to consider that he was very rich and a prime target to try to exploit somehow. If he had molested the kid, I find it strange that you would look to collect money rather than go through a criminal trial. Then there was that other one in 2005 or something like that. From what I heard the testimoney didn't seem very convincing and the victim's family had complete opposite tales one praising him and then their current denouncing him. Ofcourse you can't feel too sorry for him since he brought that stuff on himself. So while I don't give a shit really that he's dead because of his music or anything, it is sad that he went down the way he did and didn't have a chance to redeem himself. But alot of the people I've talked to act like they saw a tape of him ass raping children or something which I think is pathetic that they believe he's guilty when they have no evidence to support that. Edit: I knew about the Sega Genesis Moonwalker game but not the arcade one which I just gave a try and I have to say it's actually a fun arcade game, and hilarious too.
The first time you heard of him was the child molesting? How old are you man? You're not some crazy old cave hermit are you?
If this is true then this motherf*cker deserves to die. http://trashselector.com/evan-chandler-i-lied-for-my-father-im-sorry-michael/
Jeasus Christ! If this is true then that twat really deserves to be locked away for life (The kids fatther I mean). The ruined a mans life witht heir BS. Yakumo
That was interesting...I wonder if he and his father will get into trouble for the whole thing? I think the father may, but not so sure about his son. Michael still wasn't too bright for inviting tons of children to his house and giving them "Jesus Juice", though, if that even happened.
