I was born in 84 and I grew up listening to him. he had some really amazing songs. ps. 14 minutes, full version of Thriller is now available on xbox live marketplace to download for free so check it out , holds up extremely well.
I think it's fake because according to wikipedia Evan Chandler is the father and Jordan Chandler is the son.
Yeah but if these were actual quotes don't you think it would be breaking news on basically every channel right now?
I was always on Jackson's side with the kiddy touching routine. It was always so fucking fishy to me. Honestly, the man was weird. No doubt. But you also have to consider the fact that he never really had a life outside of the spotlight. From his very young years until thriller he was more and more and more popular and constantly in the spotlight. He never had a childhood, a teenage life, or even a social life. It would be normal for a person that secluded and emotionally undeveloped to enjoy being around kids. He wasn't sick, he was just immature. He never lost the wonder and excitement of life, so he was very much a giant man child. Sleeping in the same bed with children? I have to say, yes, it sounded creepy, but it was made to look so much worse. People tend to associate bed with sex. To him, bed wasn't sexual, it was comfort, security, love. It was inappropriate, but I never saw him as anyone who would take an inappropriate action. He just DIDN'T understand. He was a large manchild. He never was around people socially enough to learn that they could make that association. I feel bad for him, but also very happy. His suffering is over. The shame and embarrassment, the invasions of his privacy are all over. and a majority of what I've seen on the net has been overwhelmingly positive.
Yeah that story is fake. Ahh... 1984. That was a good year, I was eight years old, I remember it well. Lots of good movies came out that year - Return of the Jedi, Gremlins, Temple of Doom, Ghost Busters, Beverly Hills cop, Godzilla '84, The Karate Kid, Police Academy, Revenge of the Nerds, the Last Starfighter, The Terminator, Repo Man... and more I can't remember. Masters of the Universe hit it big that year, along with Transformers, G.I. Joe (actually 1983, but who's counting,) the A-Team, plus there was the olympics in Los Angeles (with Sam the Eagle,) a presidential election in which Regan just totally stomped ass, Not to mention a little thing called the Nintendo Entertainment System debuted that year. Plus, Thriller really took off that year, which brings us back on topic.
I do think he did a lot of creepy things and was merley a big kid at heart but not really someone who do anything inappropriate to kids. I also think becuase he didn't really have much of a childhood and was making up for it throughout his life that he never had a chance to really grow up and understand the dangers in what he was doing and what that might lead to, so what he saw was and probably intending to be something innocent wasn't necessarily portrayed that way.
A friend of mine sent a link to one of those gossip website, with someone actually interesting. http://celebrityodor.com/2009/06/michael-jacksons-lisa-its-your-birthday-on-the-simpsons/ Michael Jackson’s ‘Lisa It’s Your Birthday’ On The Simpsons I haven’t reported on the Michael Jackson death and the controversy surrounding his eccentric lifestyle strictly for the reason that you guys could find about it on practically every other website on the internet. I will however offer my tribute to the King Of Pop with his recording of ‘Lisa Its Your Birthday’ which never aired on the Simpsons due to contractual agreements. Authentic Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLNlyk8aIcU As sung by Kipp Lennon which aired on Fox:: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alTfC-L2W1c
Yep a great game i just love the isometric angle a lot i used to play this everytime i hit the arcades in a place called swanage a few miles from where i live and i did have some bids on the arcade jamma pcb as it was £45 before his death but i thought it would go for a shit load now as the auction end date was now after his death.i have a mint moonwalker md jp lying around i will have to get it out for a play in memory to the man. still its not as good as the arcade one but nice to have 2 versions of the game.
Yeah, I always thought that making a $22million settlement out of court and thus buying silence rather than fighting an injustice and clearing your name was the best way forward! It really does shout 'INNOCENT' doesn't it.
Is moonwalker md now on the rare or high price list of md games to have . cos last week it was worth about $15 mint.
I have just heard a sick joke that made me laugh about MJ. MJ is not going to buried, he is going to made into LEGO bricks so the children can play with him.
Farrah Fawcett went to up heaven where she was told since you have lived such a great life you have been granted one wish. She responded that she only wanted the children of the world to be safe. The next day Michael Jackson died.
This is like what James Rolfe (AVGN) said, "You can't spend more than two minutes without making a joke about Michael Jackson"
I would deny a $1x10^2000 out of court settlement and demand justice against the person who touched my child. But only a true parent would go that far. Accepting that money simply says to your kid that you don't believe them.... or good job son...
And look how it just disappeared and never resurfaced! It was an allegation that was never simply going to disappear. It's not the smoke without fire argument, he was never convicted, but it's the fact that he didn't let the thing die down. Any normal human being innocently dragged into such a nightmare scenario would react incredibly differently throughout the remaining years of their lives. He paid money instead of going to court, he then went on national TV and failed remarkably to justify his reasons. Not arguing with you per se, but the whole 'it doesn't make him a molester' argument is seriously stupid. Nobody other than the alleged victims know the truth. That's how it will stay! However, I disagree that he was simply an immature, misunderstood and misrepresented innocent man who was an easy target because of his naivety and wealth. He never learnt from mistakes and I, for one remain highly suspicious of the whole thing. Any person who had endured that kind of allegation would A: never have settled out of court B: would have distanced himself from further potential legal action by keeping at arms length from vulnerable children C: not set up a kiddies playground and owned a children fun fare D: let children (by his own admission during the Martin Bashir interview) sleep either in his bedroom or actually in bed with him. None of this makes him a molester of children, but it does make him highly suspect in my view and his attitudes towards children was 'not' the caring and nurturing 'I am really just one of them' like a lamb frolicking through life that fans have attempted to portray, but an adult, in his 40's abusing his position of authority. He was such a natural with kids that he dangled them over balconies and covered their faces with cloth and apparently refused to have mirrors in the house. Tell me how this makes him so in-tune with children? My biggest concern was during the Bashir interview when Gavin Arvizo and Michael Jackson sat side by side and Jackson admitted to having said "If you really loved me, you would sleep in my bedroom". Social Services would have been spilling coffee down their shirts, spitting wine into their TV's and falling out of their chairs at that one! I assure you, it was not healthy in any way shape or form. Highly inappropriate! I also think people misunderstand the parent's involved in this. I can see both the argument for not settling out of court and demanding that justice be done. There are many reasons why a parent may also think the real damage has already been done, why drag the children through court and expose them to the full force of what would have been a pretty demoralizing legal process with media interest because of the MJs position. They may have thought 'take the money, run and at least their son would have a 'happier' lifestyle knowing he may be mentally affected in adulthood'. Who knows. I guess that the highly unusual circumstance surrounding the case meant that at the time, whilst MJ was at the peak of his fame that the families lawyers had as much of a say in financial settlement as the parents. They could have been informed that if they didn't settle they might end up ruined financially. Most parents would however, if they were convinced of their child's story decide not to settle, yet most parents were not faced with MJ as the alleged abuser.
