SirGadget, I see you are selling star edition. Your console is brand new it? I do not think so. My "new " is defined as: 1. must be not opened the box or never power up is the "real " new. 2. there is power up the console is not new, because you have power, this is not the console is not used. One more question: Do you not have that wrapped in plastic bags console?
My console couldn't really be any newer than it is, it's IMHO still considered new, even thoguh it's been powered on a couple of times in it's life, yes it's in plastic, you can tell from the pictures I'm certain. Anyway, why do you even care wether I consider mine new or not, when you have one already?
I wouldnt mind seeing the pics of these, as I have started collecting them myself. I have 3 different Xplorers, a Datel AR as well as the commslink. Have been looking for a late model Gameshark / AR Pro.
I guess this NGPC PAL Evolution Eternal Dungeons or this De La Jet Set Radio not sure which one is harder to find
I have a "real" new, but already sold. So I have no interest in the console of the collection now. I'm just curious what do you think has power up the console is new? I think that once the power up is not new, can only be defined as the second-hand and used.:cur_sonic:
I agree, although it might look like brand-new. But used (=powered up, maybe played a game for 30min?) and brand-new (=like sitting in a store, waiting for a happy customer) are different things.
I think this is the reason you have been unable to sell. To £ 1,999 as you start the auction has a starting price of a few months, the price can buy a brand new "star" version is a very good price, but why has not sold? May be some console collector think that this is not a new, is the second-hand or used. not worth the price! because the price of “brand new†and â€used“ prices are different, the prices â€used“ by the general Between the euro in 1500-2000. The â€brand new“ prices higher than 2000 euros:cur_sonic:
Probably Steel Battalion for the original XBOX, boxed with manual and everything else. Or this GBC special edition: I'm really not sure, probably I've also got rarer stuff in my collection
I have seen in Japan yahoo auctions a star edition dreamcast. Japanese the seller said that the console had only power up 2-3 times, but he defined for his console is “used”. Finally, he sold the console's price is 163,000 yen
Well, I frankly dont care wether you think it's new or not. There are apparently lots of people in line to comment why I should reduce the price, rephrase something etc. Some say it to try and get the console at a good price, some try to help out, an some are just being complete a holes. I have no opinion on which category you're in, and docent matter either. I'm just very fed up with repeating myself, that I have paid the prize I list it for, and won't be reduced in price. It's really tiresome
ok, if you adjust the price is not my business, I have no interest in your console. I used to have one, but had been sold. I just think your console is not new, why is defined as a new console for sale? Just curious, no other meaning
Simply because, it IS new! It has only been powered to verifyit was a working unit, nit's like it's used at a regular basis, and every other DC I've ever seen for sale, that were LE's has been listed as new, why not mine?
Well, how would one verify that one has never been opened before then? You can easily acquire a new unwrinkled console bag, even though you've played the shit out of the console, and it will then be "new", there has never been any form of seal around those consoles, apart from a shipping box from D-Direct which noone seems to have:shrug:
Others can not be verified. May be really "new ", may be a lie. But your console is definitely not new, because you have confirmed the power up! your console can only be defined as "used ", you say your console "brand new" is a lie!
1. I saw the picture you provide the console, unlike the whole "new ", more like "used ". 2. you say there is power up the console, and a video as evidence, there is power up the traditional sense is not new! 3. I found that part of your paper statement and publicity are not 4. This limited Edition Gray VMU hair yellow. looks very bad! Looks like a used 5. All the cables seems split off the plastic bags, then seal it up? 6. May be you do not have to seal up the whole, avoid the sun. The whole looks like a little faded 7. Your packaging has damaged and wrinkled
Give it a rest. It is new. He only checked to see if it works. That still counts as new! You do understand that even very expensive items such as cars are driven about 100 km before you EVER sit in it. They're sold as new but according to you they are not new. No more talking about new or not. This isn't the place to do that. Take it to PMs or the unmoderated thread.
It's like new. If you power it up, it has been used, a game could have been booted up - who knows? If it is admitted that the console has been powered up and all, the seller knows what he buys. But if someone searches for a brand-new NRFB (never removed from box) console, I wouldn't count a "just powered up once" as new. Unlike cars, consoles are sold brand-new and not "tested". "New" = "like it's sold in the store". Otherwise it's like a game without shrinkwrap that the seller claims to never have seen a console from the inside. Would that still count as a new game to a sealed collector? I mean, it's never been used - but could have been easily tested for 5min?
ok. I stopped. but I want to say is the definition of new cars and game consoles in different!:cur_sonic: I think there is power up the game console is not a new console in the collection. Whether you use the console to play games or do other things!!! If the console must be tested to ensure he was not bad, so he is brand new? ! No! This is just self-deception!
