Rarest thing you own thread

These probably are the rarest games in my collection:

- Viewpoint (FM Towns Marty)
- Virtual Bart (Japanese MD version, complete /w both japanese & american instr., original Acclaim box, postcard, etc.)

Not the rarest but one of the rarest i just received


This is the #04/50 Beatles Rock Band Xbox 360 listed recently on Ebay , i got it by sending my offer after the auction closed without any bids.

Nice to see a full 360 done rather than just the faceplate. It'll be worth lots in years to come, no doubt - Beatles collectors are a breed of their own, so I've heard.

 

For the PSX, Macross VF-X2 Special Edition (Tokyo Snack). No doubt paid far too much to acquire this several years ago.

Even without my "fanness" i would probably buy it , one custom based on a wonderful animated trailer can only be great to see.

I born in a family with Beatles collector as a father , so i guess it was also naturally to own it , and by experience i can confirm Beatles fans can be really hardcore :Rock:

The bundle include the same content than a regular Xbox 360 Elite , the serial number also is displayed on the right up corner of the box and on the right edge.

The only problem with custom consoles is to get a render as realistic as they really are , for example you can see satin-like texture by approaching your head which is pretty difficult to see through most of my pics

 

Can we get a proper scan of that? I can't get it to work, and I usually don't have any problems with "magic eye" images.

 

I'll have to give it a go, prolly gonna have to splice multiple scans together, it was a power club thing

Wanted to sell this one for 3€ at Kijiji, was rather surprised to find it @ Ebay for 70-170€, marked as rare, wtf?!

ya some of those older strategy guides can pull in some ok cash, I'll usually look in the used book store when I drive by just to see if theres anything hiding

 

A pleasant surprise, as i´m currently really short on cash and sell all my supposedly worthless stuff @ Kijiji, now only need to find someone who wants it. ^^
I srsly had no idea such stuff is sought after in the times of strategy guides on the internet. A book is nicer ofcourse, but 70€?! A good investment i made at the age of 12 i guess.

 

yeah, FF7 ones always go for a decent price, same with n64 zeldas, the old school players guides, etc etc, just depends on popularity

 

hmmmm im going to list the last blade for neo geo pocket not really sure how rare but i barely see it for sale it's the english version complete. I will post a pic when I have a camera in hand......
