I'd be very surprised if there are any in Australia mate. They were sold in the UK for a really limited amount of time in a department store. They were promptly recalled as they broke copyright infringements.
true i wonder if any were ever sold here =p the only clone i have is those blaze ones but they are nowhere near as official looking as this
There may be man, you never know. This is really good quality, it's also multi-region which is a great feature.
Not the rarest but probably one of the rarest i have been looking for during 5 years (Kunio-kun no Dodgeball Shikoku regional trophy)
Demo System DS-16 Got it for a decent price compared to the one on FleaBay that went for $300+. In fact, I'm the one who made it go so high. Had to give up at $300... But now I have one finally!!
I have a still-shrinkwrapped copy of Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed SE for DOS/Windows 95. Not really a rare title I guess, but there wouldn't be many in mint condition around. After Christmas I'm going on a road trip to pick up an original IBM PC 5150, so then that'll probably be the rarest thing in my collection.
Either the original first disc ever submitted to XBox Certification for approval and manufacturing - NHL HITZ - this is the actual disc used to submit the game bits to Microsoft; or possibly the original First Press Check for the Howard & Nester comic from Nintendo Power issue #1; or maybe the only known remaining NOW YOU'RE KNITTING WITH POWER brochure for Nintendo's ill-fated knitting machine peripheral for the NES; or it could be the only known remaining AVS brochure for Nintendo's prototype Advance Video System; Once you reach one-of-a-kind status then how do you decide between items? Of the above, which is the most rare?
So, Nintendo tried to make the NES knit sweaters? Damn, wouldn't that be cool! Were there any hardware models of this, or just advertising?
The physical prototype is pictured in the brochure - I personally had to demo it to then Toys R Us CEO Charles Lazarus - awkward gamer moment...
HEY RACH: You have 2 jewels, highly collectibles and very hard to find. These are 2 games for the GRANSTAND LIGHT GAMES a portable console from the subgenre "projection systems" (displays game on the wall, not screen) , also know as PLAYTIME MEGA VIDEO GAME (italian version) and PLAYTIME HUNTER CAESAR TOYS. The 2 you have there are in fact the PLAYTIME versions (the hardest to find in fact.. PLAYTIME launched a game only available on the PLAYTIME version it is BASEBALL ): is easily to note difference between the Grandstand ones (BLUE BOX) , the MEGA VIDEO GAMES ones (BIZARRE graphics box) and the PLAYTIME HUNTER CAESAR TOYS ones (retro style, pointed graphics box). Here you can see ALL THE games for this system as well as the 2 boxed systems i have. HERE THE FULL SET : 13 games (baseball only PLAYTIME version available) , in different brands. Hope info may be usefull to know history behind these rare RARE cartridges.
