Did anyone buy that? And even if they did. the game itself was just the Commander in Chief edition, so there's nothing special about the actual game there. I've been out of the NG scene for a long time, but last I knew wasn't there a possibility that the European Kizuna Encounter was a hoax (I mean, I know there are some games floating around out there, but did anyone official ever confirm their validity?)
I believe the current theory is that SNK Europe took some Japanese carts and slapped EU labels on them and made a EU manual and insert with the intention to sell a small run of copies in Europe but they only made a few before stopping. Maybe they didn't get permission from SNK Japan or something? No one seems to know for sure, but the carts themselves are considered legit. The AES Aero Fighters 3 that popped up a year or two ago on the other hand were proven to be 100% fake.
Included is also "Plastic Surgery , Personal Shopper..." Do the person actually needed that? God knows if the plastic surgery included is applicable for which part of the body.
I pointed that out like a week ago. Also wasn't there a limited edition version of a game that had a car? Like GRID or something?
The point is to get one more story in the media, not to sell anything. Not that they couldnt pull something together hah
For me there are 2 rarest games: 1- GOKU Lasreactive LDrom2 2- Kid's station pc engine set cib with spine....
I believe he has the only copy. There are some reproductions of Gamma Attack out there now (I *think* they were actually made by the original programmer, so are they repros or old stock?) and maybe two Red Sea Crossings (not sure if the second was real or not).
Certainly not as rare as some other things mentioned in this thread, but there were Mega Drive Doublepack Releases in Australia with Ozisoft branded carts. Dunno how much they made, but I only saw two of them in the last few years (And I bought one...)
Not sure if this has popped up, but I think Propeller Arena is the rarest game. There was only one copy of it a guy bought and once he found there was only one of them, he ripped the CD for us and sold it to another guy. The other guy has it to this day, from what I know.
