It's online now? I have one, but it's silver. As far as I can remember, the registration form wasn't very hard to fill, and when you register an acount for the first time you get one moth gold Live
The graphics are nice but there seems to be loads of tearing on my screen. Gets really annoying. The controls are ok however i dont like the aim. I fint it slow even though ive set it to the fastest setting. Overall i think ill get it at some point though im not too exited however i havent played a resident evil since code v on dreamcast.
Just played it too. Gameplay's very different from Bio 4 since the game doesn't pause when in the inventory and with the fast enemies you have to do a lot of running. It took me quite a few tries to find the right strategy for the first level. I'm still having an adrenaline rush though. Very exciting!
I dunno what to think yet to be honest. The demo was fairly short I thought and I didn't really like the controls compared to RE 4. Yeah I liked RE 4s way of changing weapons and stuff but I like the new quick swap feature. So far its not given me the "Woah" that RE 4 did but thats because the leap from 3-4 was huge and 4-5 is more or less the same with a few obvious changes. But then again if its not broken no need for a change?
It's pretty kickass, but the controls are wierd at times. It would be nice to move while aiming. Did 4 let you do this? I played through it so many times but for some reason I can't remember if it did. It looks to be set up as a co op game, which is good and bad, sometimes I just want to play with myself!
I haven't tried it yet, but the last time I tried to download something from the Japanese marketplace it said it was region locked. Can this be run on an American or European Xbox 360?
Capcom caught wind of the work-around for people trying to play the demo from other regions. I pass this on as someone passed it on to me. Now, everyone can play the demo! It has Japanese, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian subtitles, too. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=fdf4f1773666296791b20cc0d07ba4d2e66f2dcbbe596359 *Download all the RAR files. *Extract them with WinRAR or 7zip. 7zip is freeware and unzips RAR files just as well as WinRAR does. *Burn the resulting folder named "Content" to a CD-R. *To play in your Xbox 360, go the My Games tab and look for the demo among whatever other downloaded games/demos you may have. *Have fun!
I sorta felt Like I was being ripped off out of ammo, I was like scavaging the area for ammo, Sorta sad.
I agree with some of the others, the aiming did feel real slow. I was not able to spend more than a few minutes with the demo, but I like the new atmosphere, and the game looks quite nice. I don't have an HDTV so I am playing via VGA cable on an NEC Multisync crt.
Nice to have the download but beside the title screen is the demo any different in the various regions? I was surprised with the Japanese one to have a moderate amount of gore and dissolving (= dissapearing) corpses. Not that it matters...
