Resident Evil 5 Demo

I finally played the demo. I recommend burning it to a DVD-R with some files burned before the Content folder to dummy it out to the edge of the disc so it is read faster. CD-R is alot slower. I also use VGA on my 360. But I don't have any screen tearing that I remember and I'm sure I would have noticed.

As for the demo, I don't really see what people have to complain about either. It basically is RE4 but a different story, and well co-op which can be annoying at times really. It seems the game really does need to be played with a buddy. The AI is just annoying and wastes all their ammo. But overall this hasn't really shaken my desire to get RE5 when it comes out.

And I wasn't suggesting that. I just wanted to throw out there that it's probably better to burn the Demo on a DVD with some padding since the Xbox will read a DVD better/faster than a CD I think.

When I get a chance to play the demo more I'll note my VGA resolution and watch for any tearing.

 

I'm running the demo via hdd and I have a lot of tearing via vga, is easy to see in the cinematics.

 

I downloaded this, and when I go to extract it the program asks for a password. Is there a password, and if so, what is it?

 

Saw it today. Seems very hard and stressing.

That chainsaw dude is way creepier and brutal than the on in RE4

 

Played it yesterday via HDMI/1080i on a LG 40" Plasma TV and it was GREAT!
The Graphics are very good and sometimes just Wow! Those Explosions are like never seen before in Gaming-History.
After 1 Mission in Single Player i only played some Rounds in Offline-Coop with a Friend. It was great Fun and we had a meeting with that Chainsaw Dude.

I burned it on CD and for the first Time the loading Times was very long (2 Minutes or more), but while we played the Missions again it loaded faster (10-20 secs)

I don't say this will be the best Game ever but i think it will be a very good Game and every Gamer needs to try out. Maybe its one of those Games which shows you why its good to own a next-gen Console.

 

Just tried, it is nice, but feels unpolished. Or maybe I expected more

 

You can put the demo on your HDD too, but now that it has been released, it can be downloaded to hard drive.

 

I wasn't really interested in in RE5 but a friend told me the demo was released. We downloaded it and had a good time! I'm definitely considering buying it now..see, demo's DO work.
