I'm just putting it out there...

YES, it is a coincidence that Retrocade and Retrocore come out on the same day sometimes :p

Good, if not short episode Always liked Bloody Roar and I was wondering if there were any good Indy games out there and I was just reading about 2 crude dudes on HG101

Two Crude Dudes is a classic but sadly, one that has aged quite a bit.

One I hadn't even heard of until today. Data East had an...interesting line up of games to say the very least. I always throught Fighter's History was over shadowed by that whole "it's plagerism" deal with Street Fighter. It's not a terrible game...and a bit SFish...too SFish and the characters are forgettable but it's not by any means a bad game.

Data east did indeed have many great games but also a lot of shit too. I still remember how amazing their RoboCop arcade was at the time.

It's out now but my site is being server transferred today so the site may be a little slow to respond.

Yeah, I really don7t like Tekken. I find it so stiff to play. As for Indiana Jones Adventures, it's far worse than any re-skinning of earthworm Jim. At least earthworm could move smothly :(

I'm a huge tekken fan but compared to DOA...yeah not as fluid or enjoyable. Tits help too...which Tekken tag 2 did make a feature with the free Bikini DLC.

Great show mate, finally someone who shares my love for Jewel Master :). I had that game for about 21 years, still love it!!! You should review review Dhana as well, nice and obscure but probably not as solid technically as Jewel Master.

Good to hear people are liking the new format. Many of the comments on YouTube say so too. I was expecting many complaints about the new style due to less games and so on. The next show will feature a normal game, shite of the show and a look in to Japanese bars. You'll be surprised at just how small they are.

Just watched episodes 1 and 2 of Retro Core 4. Good stuff! Biometal looks pretty cool. I hate it when they make all sorts of pointless changes when they localize a game. I recently had the chance to Lightening Force (American version of Thunder Force IV), and I was surprised by how much easier it was than the Japanese version. The graphics are basically identical apart from the title screen, but it's so much easier. It's still somewhat challenging (this coming from a person who sucks at shmups), but nothing like the Japanese version.
