RC4 volume 7 is now on YouTube The official high resolution version is coming within the next 24 hours. I'll post here once it's ready. The official download is far higher quality than YouTube since it's recorded in H264 at 9.2MBPS 720p with 255kbps stereo audio. File size is1.09GB
Great episode again, thanks!!! I've got that Steeldom boxset somewhere, not played it much yet, but I do remember that great TS soundtrack Relayed on zee blog: https://cdromrom.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/retro-core-4-volume-7-is-out/ Check it out you might the new cover
Another good one as always. Convinced me not to bother with Darkstalkers and just get the same two games on the Saturn. Time to ramp up your game. I've decided to discontinue my shows with Episode 8 of Tales from the Arcade, and instead focus on single game videos.
So you r videos will now be shorter? I'Ve now added the new RC to the official site complete with high quality download.
Yeah they will be No longer than a half hour and focus on no more than 2 games, aside from the console nightmare videos which will just be a rapid succession of random games. I had to get a new channel since Fuji TV finally took exception to my video naming style. Speaking of Retrocore downloads. I found a DVD-R in my pile of burnt discs labed Retrocore. I pop it into one of my media players and lo and behold, contained with in are all the Retrocore specials. I watch the Saturn Shooting special quite often.
I'm currently thinking of a new format. Something like the old Cybernet video game show. If I do go that way I'll need some nice CG work which I can't do so any links to free royalty free graphics I could use would be fantastic. I do have the games for the next show captured but just deciding on a new format to gain more viewers and make a bit of cash via YouTube. It takes a long time to produce a one man show
I could help you out with CG stuff, if you need help. I can't do 3D graphics, but I can do 2D animated graphics.
That's very kind of you but I'm thinking 3D at the moment, sort of like early to mid 90's style. But I will keep your offer in mind if I can't find what I have in mind.
I highly Enjoyed your Show! can't wait to what you'll showcase soon p.s will you be doing more Mega Drive bootlegs &/or any Super Famicom unlicensed Games very soon too?
I will be doing more Mega Drive bootleg stuff in the future (I own quite a few) but which ones I'm not too sure about at the moment. The look I'm looking for is quite like this UK games show from the 90's. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybernet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhtPt34O_M0 Of course it doesn't need to be as flashy as that but something that shouts out gaming in the graphical department.
Yeah, something like that would be great. It would need to be at least high quality 480p or 720 would be best.
I could do a capture for you of the various CG demos I have, the best I could get (I think) is s-video out of the PC-FXGA. I need to check if an emulator support the PC-FXGA, then we could do some capture from there then do some upscaling.
