I think we sound stupid because of our accents. Something that the Japanese like to take the piss out off on TV. Yet, if we did a Japanese piss take of them speaking in English, no sorry, trying to speak in English, they'd be not so happy. It wouldn't surprise me that much if there were more foreign people in Japan that spoke Japanese than Japanese who spoke English.

 

Just watched the new episode. Cool stuff. I was really impressed by the X68000 part. What kind of monitors do those things use? RGB I'd assume, but is it some kind of weird resolution or scan rate?

 

Wow youtube is taking a very long time to process Retro Core 3 V5, I really want to watch it...

 

Yes, I know. just checked and it's still not ready after 24 hours. looks like something has gone wrong. I'm uploading it again right now but since I'm off to bed I can't post the link until tomorrow.

Well, that's not really katakana's fault, it's because of all the phonemes Japanese doesn't have, plus the whole system of writing in syllables.

Hey Yakumo, do you have the Saturn floppy drive? If you do, could you review it in a future Retrocore?

 

I had one but sold it. I still own the CD software for it. Actually, come to think of it I may still own a Saturn FDD. It's not in the house though so I guess it's in storage.

 

Btw, theres any software to make youll be able to read the Saturn floppy partition format on a pc? Im assuming it is for the Dezaemon 2 community

New Retrocade is coming this week too. I'll be getting my soap box out while I play Arcana Heart 3.

Anyways watching the new Retrocore now, I think this is the 2nd time you've done the Simpsons Arcade game the first time you did the Arcade game with an Apu voice, and it was hilarious.

 

GodOfHardcore , Ive tried to watch your show several times, it seems good, but I cant get past the way you use to capture gameplay (Pointing a camera at a screen) ,it hurts my eyes and dont do the games justice.

Dont take it too seriously, but a capture card will in my opinion get you a much higher viewcount.

 

@GOH, oh yeah. I remember now. The amount of complaints I got about that being called a racist and God knows what. People are stupid at times.

It's a stylistic choice. You know how MST3k created a movie theater setting? I'm trying to replicate somebody staring at an old monitor. If I REALLY WANTED TO I could get a cheap 480p capture device but I like the effect the camera at screen has. It's like you're there with me. I guess at BEST I could get a better camera.

But lets not jam up Retrocore's thread with talk about my show. There's one about my show here somewhere.

Eventually I just stopped caring about complaints and some how my view count in Japan of all places went up.

But yeah, I enjoyed that review. I think you did that whatever ken before too. Whatever shite of the week was I think you did before.

Overlap is bound to happen eventually though.
