Hey all, I'm Don, primary focus is Gamecube related rarities and subjects. I'm from Canada, an advertising student and looking to unearth just about anything of interest. I have a few contacts with PR agencies and the odd developer, but nothing too deep. Willing to lend a helping hand in any way I can
1. Intro- My name is Henry and I am a 16 year old Highschool student living in California near the Los angeles area. 2. How I can help - I dont have many ways to contribute besides money... I try to help comment things using my Beta/Alpha and just plain Video Game Knowledge. 3. What I would like us to find - I would LOVE to see any SNES/Genesis Unreleased games, Protos, Betas, Reviews. If ANYONE has any proto form of Super Metroid I would pay vast quantities of cash, blood, body parts, etc. (Joke!.... well the body parts atleast) Or Protos of any of the following games [Chrono Trigger/Cross, Super Mario RPG, Megaman X 1-3, Terranigma, Illusion Of Gaia, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Sonic....You get the point]
1. Names Matt. a 19 year old high school student*i screwed up a few times*/Night Crew guy at Safeway living in Penticton BC 2. Can't contribute much more than Money since time is at a premium for me right now. But eventually after i get my life in full order and learn to manage my time better i hope to help out in more ways 3. Anything and Everything. i'm interested in the full scope of systems. As RPGs of all kinds are my favorite genres i hope to see many of those hopefully
1. Intro - My name is Josh, I am an electrical/computer engineer for a defense company in NV. 2. How I can help - Cash and that is really it. I have a large collection of mostly retro stuff, but nothing at all really hard to find anyplace. 3. What I would like us to find - TG-16, NES, SNES, Sega CD, maybe some Amiga stuff also. Although not really a whole lot of that around.
1.Ignacio, 30, not in the games industry, I grew upplaying videogames - I grew up in the UK infact which means - imports, c+vg/gamefan/egm/mean machine etc. I think I'm way past it when it comes to games, I really should move on, but it's probably impossible for me to do. 2. money but sporadically, I'm like the magpie, always attracted to shiny things. for some reason I have a knack for finding bizzare and sometimes very rare shizzle all over the place - not just locally. I thrive off the hunt - I guess if I get lucky there's a good chance you'll get lucky too 3. neo geo and arcade protos by far. apart from that mostly japanese action orientated games on any platform.
1) Emanuel, not in gaming industry, CTO at a german Ecommerce company, privately developing console and PC apps. Also a member of the demo-scene, specializing in console-dev. http://www.ngine.de 2) Money? While i am a big collector, my obsession is more with hardware than games. I will chip in money any day though to keep ASSEMblergames going. Itas the best resource on the planet for my hobby and helped me more than once in finding stuff i could not get anywhere else. 3) Devkit stuff and other obscure hardware, mostly. I play the occasional game though.
1. I'm John and i'm not in the gaming industry. I live in the US and I am currently a college student taking computer engineering. I've been collecting promotional and beta games for almost 10 years now and i'm always fascinated at what turns up given enough time. 2. I'm a broke college student but I'm more than happy to chip in whatever I can (I gave a bit towards Sonic Xtreme) when needed. I don't really have the time right now for much else. 3. I'd love to see just about anything beta/unreleased on the Genesis/SNES as well as more recent consoles such as the PS1/PS2.
1. Im Christian from Germany. No Contacts to gaming industry, and collecting mostly SEGA stuff. 2. Only money i guess. 3. I am intesrested in everything that was not meant to be released to the public. Betas and unreleased games for every System.
1. Adam, obsessed with the DC as well as most other failures. 2. Money 3. M2 software, Sonic prototypes, and other prototype consoles and their respective software.
Hello Folks, My real name is Mark... I enjoy long walks on the beach, kicking small dogs, and setting old people on fire. Anyway, I have a few betas and test builds of a few games I could contribute, no one's holy grail I'm afraid. But someone no doubt would be interested. What do I want us to obtain? The unreleased Dreamcast Castlevania game.
1) Name's Mike. I'm a QA tester in the US. Been a gamer as long as I remember, though these days I swing between collecting and gaming depending on whether I have more free money or free time. 2) Not willing to do anything that could put my job at risk, of course! I'm too green to have many references, though I can always give it a shot and I plan to continue attending GDC every year. I'll contribute money to dumps as well, naturally. 3) Anything from the 32/64 bit era of gaming, there's just something special about that period for me. In particular? I'd kill to see Resident Evil 1.5 and the N64 build of Mother 3 released.
1-Nicola, from Italy. 2-Money. Occasionally games. 3-I'd like to see something unreleased and really awful. Something that makes you think "thanks god they didn't release it!"
1)Thanos , not in the gaming industry - finished Law though 2) no money at the moment, you ve got to wait till i find a good job, but special arrangments may be possible with the right incentive 3) will depend on the title and its personal worth (ie how much i wanted to see a title that never got released, ie i wouldnt be that interested in a super A can title for example) I intend to use my knowledge on a possible release of mother DD (if corey wants obviously), and you can bet titles like RE 1.5 are very interesting to me
Tony 31 not a in the Industry. I work in Computers or around computers something with a computer i think. I been doing alot of custom images for hospitals lately. Just moved back to NC. Collect things that i can play mainly from 80s to current. Money but i just bought a house so i am broke. And any tech questions. Hmmm just love the video game legends and lore.
Brian, USA --Law Student, no attachments to the industry. Aside from money...I can offer...uh...my other services. I have a background in writing and am highly contemplative. I think a ton about everything I say (espcially in writing). Other than that, I feel I know most of everything about most video games...but I imagine a lot of you are in the same boat. What I want to see? What I can't see. Nintendo stuff...the stuff they'll never let out...I want that. Stuff that's in collectors hands, the ones that never want to sell, I want that.
I'm Nick, just done enough of my Electronics degree to graduate with a Bachelor's, or I can do another year for my Master's... I know a few industry people who are worth asking about betas and protos, but they share a frustrating unreliability! I've a lot of beta Jaguar stuff but nothing that interesting, I'm afraid. My true passion is in early-ish games; I'd love to see more Megadrive protos but I guess the majority of available ones have long since arrived on the scene or vanished... Stone
I'm Larry, 22 and a network admin. Have several close connections in the industry from a former job. I can contribute cash, the more interested I am in the title, the more I give. Also I am fairly adept at fixing old electronics (its a hobby of mine). Things I really want found and dumped are Nintendo in house game protos, any unreleased xbox games, and pretty much anything 16bit. Also PSP protos if they can be ran on a oe flashed retail system.
1. Omar, 26 years old, France. Game programmer since not too long. 2. I've been actively seeking, obtaining and publicly releasing Sega 8-bit related media (dumps, documents) since 1997 thru SMS Power community (560 releases so far). I'm trying to achieve a definitive and exhaustive Sega 8-bit collection partly for historical and reference purposes. I have strong commitment to this project. I don't want credits, I don't want flames, I don't like watermarks in pictures and .nfo in ZIP files, I WANT THINGS DONE. 3. I'm interested everything Sega 8-bit: Master System, Game Gear, SG-1000, SC-3000, SF-7000. As stated in signature.
