ive already done a x-clamp fix on it and fixed tonnes of RRODs, i'm 100% its not that because it takes a good 15/20 seconds for it to rrod.

 

Where is the majority of the kits that are getting bricked coming from? Are they all from the main selling source?

its all bollocks, im sat here with a kit and im litterally afraid to turn the sucker on!

I dont think it has anything to do with the recent spate of pnet screencaps, thats been happening for years. If you ask me, its all to do with the MS cash cow that is the halo franchise. Seems a touch coincidental that as soon as a guy claims to have hacked it and posts some screens that the shit happens to hit the fan!

My kit came from someone on here, as far as i know it had nothing to do with the usual sellers so perhaps i will be alright.

EDIT* Just tried my kit, signed in fine.

 

I've decided not to hook my kit up to the internet at all because I am unaware of its origin. Keep in mind, that the next the xdk update may have this hardcoded in to prevent futher updates on non registered consoles.

Someone with a registered kit should try running LanShark and see what packets are being sent to the xdk when you sign on to PN.

Yeah exactly, with each passing day, everyone (20 or so) i know that have kits are all fine and going about their business. Im starting to call bs on this
