So about this, I am doing the read me instructions and getting nowhere, but the zip file already comes with the ISO installer, so bung that on a disc and run it? (Modded SS also one with a Rhea, doing the mod for a mate)

Before I flash this PAR I have, does anyone have a backup of the original PAR that I can flash back in case anything happens? I cannot make one myself.

What are you trying to do ? There are many readme, iso and instructions in this topic.

There are several dumps of Action Replay cartridges in Pseudo Saturn flasher utility, so maybe a firmware suitable for your cartridge is available.
Please let me know which version number is displayed when booting from your Action Replay, so that I can verify if it available in Pseudo Saturn flasher utility.

BTW : please note that upgrading to Pseudo Saturn will erase the save data recorded in your cartridge.

Just flash the cart, but the download in the OP already has an iso inside and the read-me in it is no help

Running installer.iso should do the job. If it doesn't, please try with my flasher utility.
Basically, it's just the matter to run the update utility from the iso, so burning it to CD-R, or running it from Rhea should work ?

Sorry to bother you but please by anychance can patch it to third party for me? Because apparently my computer cannot run it as I'm currently using Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows and that OS doesn't cooperate with it for some odd reason :-\ just only for this once and I'll never ask again.

I have a boxed import adapter called "Game Adapter" that looks exactly like a Pro Action Replay with the parallel port removed. I've also seen an Interact-brand "Memory Card" in the same shell and we all know that Interact published the Action Replay as the Game Shark in the USA. It's in the same housing and even has the spot for a parallel port. IIRC, I remember looking inside and seeing "Datel." I suspect that it is actually an Action Replay running different firmware. Has anyone tried updating it? I don't have an AR to compare it to directly.

So does that mean that Pseudo Saturn will also work when flashing a Game Shark?

(Also, was it ever confirmed whether the flashed Action Replay still works as a RAM cart?)

Glad it did the job :]
And, thank you for registering my youtube channel :)

    Gameshark is pseudo saturn compatible.

And, no problem about extra RAM : it remains available after upgrading to pseudo saturn.

    Hi guys.

I'm having some issues with the bootloader. I flashed an AR cart with the v0.832. It works flawlessly with almost all of my burned games, but I'm having trouble trying to run original JAP games on my PAL saturn. For example, my japanese Astal and Clockwork Knight 2 won't work at all. All I get is a recurring "Error 1". No matter how much I keep pressing button A or resetting, it never gets passed that error.

Sometimes with the burned games I also get that error, but after pressing button A it ends up running just fine. Any ideas? It's annoying to have to burn games that you already own just to get passed that error!
