Wow, impressive collection. It's great to see all that dev hardware boxed.

A fantastic philosophy in theory, but you've not met my wife have you lol - plus, my bank account (being a student) doesn't support this resolution

Very nice, makes me very jealous. Especially the boxed dev stuff. Hell I work in the industry and its damn near impossible to get my hands on it.

Of note how did you find out the number for your 10 Million Model? I have a PAL version but it is not numbered.

My NTSC J 10 Million edition has an all black box with PlayStation written on the front, and on the top flap has a little silver area with the black letters "No. T100" or something like that, which matches the last numbers on the serial number. I presume this refers to the 100 in each region that were produced, but maybe not?

Does yours not have this? What are the last numbers on your serial number?

New Star Wars Battle Front limited edition PSP Lite arrived a couple of days ago. Camera has gone walkabout, so this generic photo will do for now... Only two weeks until the Ceramic White PS3 is released as well...

Sorry it took so long. Mine does not have a number on the box, as for the serial well this is all there is

Of note my recently aqquired 10 Million Model controller and memory card do not have numbers on their boxes either. Maybe they didn't do this for PAL releases.

Holy....well holy something. That is an impressive collection indeed. That's passion.

I had no idea that the non-shock dual analog controllers were rare.

I actually picked up one of those in the states so I'd be ready to play Parasite Eve. Good thing I saved the box and instructions:)

    Hi,

I haven't been around much lately (work stuff) but there's been a few updates to the collection.

I've got a Ceramic White PS3 and Dual Shock controller, a Deep Red PSP, a limited edition yellow Simpsons PSP and the Star Ocean: The First Departure Eternal Edition PSP (all brand new and boxed, of course). Also got some PSP UMD movies (Gremlins, Die Hard 4.0, Lady in the Water, Under Siege) and the R-Type Tactics game. Photos soon hopefully....

    Happy new year.

    Dave.

Awesome collection you have. Have you gotten that Snow White automobile edition yet? Then you have every single colour PS2 don't you? Sweeeet!

One thing I have been wondering that you probably know; aside from the PAL european automobile collection, the SCPH-5000x AQ and the SCPH-5000x SS, have PAL PS2s been released in other colours?

    Hi,

Still don't have that NTSC U/C Snow White one...!!! Oh well, maybe one day (I haven't been paying too much attention to eBay etc lately, so may have missed my opportunity).

In terms of PAL PS2 colours, they got a release of the European Automotive collection colours (666 units of each of the five colours), plus there are PAL versions of the pink, white and silver slimline PS2s, plus the ones that you've mentioned.

That's a very nice (and I would assume very expensive) collection. Great to see.

...says the guy with a slew of (probably) unused dev hardware! ;-)
But I must say your collection is impressive beyond words! Respect!

    F**k me dead

That's seriously impressive. Collecting all colours and bundles may be a bit overkill but I admire the fact that your heart is really into it. Though, that Linux PS2 bundle looked familiar, you haven't been selling some stuff on eBay, have you?

Not me mate, haven't sold any of the PlayStation stuff on eBay. I have seen a lot of photos on Yahoo Japan that look eerily like my Linux kit, but I guess they all look the same?

Yeah true, but the dev stuff wasn't too expensive, and was spread out over time. And that was before we had little twins (in August 07 - life changing stuff. Luckily my wife actually is encouraging me to keep the collection going, which is great).
