Should nds_demo be banned for what he did to Borman and the way he handled it?

Assembler, he would have been banned based on the stuff he wrote alone, let alone his conduct. You asked the members to reach a consensus, and it is pretty clear what way it is going. Again, I wouldn't want someone to sell to him, then be screwed over. People have been banned here for far less.

 

Seems he is more interested in trolling now as so many people are heated...

He's continuing to dodge the issue. Sure he can ignore direct questions as part of "right to silence", but I don't think spewing nonsense is exercising that.

 

He has broken 4 or 5 of the forum rules and yet all we can do is a name and shame? What's the point of rules if nobody enforces them? (this is what I was getting at in the new rules thread).

 

I say we keep going until he fesses up. Admitting guilt or innocence is the closest to an apology we have much chance at.

Kev, he really needs to be banned, a very high percentage wants him gone it's not for the fact we dislike him (now we do) but it's what he did to Borman....

 

Amen to that. I know we shouldn't let our personal feelings get involved but flaming me for starting this made it personal. I was doing this for the good of the community. Calling me a hillbilly doesn't sit too well. I have never met a hillbilly in the deep part of west Texas.

Summary :

NDS_Demo AKA Arno Rauschenback, from Germany (May also have you ship to a 'relative' in Manor, TX USA)

I had a IS-Nitro Emulator on Ebay. He contacts me, asking why it is US only, which was a personal preference. He agreed to have it shipped to a relative in Texas, no problem. The address was listed on the Paypal payment, so I thought nothing of it.

I ship it out the next day, it gets there by May 19th. 10 days later, it is still sitting in the post office, after his relative failed to sign for it. I contact him here, and on Ebay, telling him. Immediately, he begins talking about a refund. Not about redelivery. I even offered to ship it to Germany to be nice. Nope, refund. He opens up a case against me, while it sits in a Texas Post Office. He claims that he can't get ahold of his relative, that they are on vacation, blah blah, a different excuse every time, just wanting a refund, essentially because he got cold feet and didnt want the item.

I, as a reaction, then open a Negative Feedback thread. At that point, the item was sitting there, and I was also out over 509$. The case opened against me is an "Item Not Received" case. He claims now that his relative got the "heebie jeebies." What actually happened, I have no idea. Dealing with Ebay Germany is a chore and a half, taking days to get a response, often that the case was "on hold" since he wasn't supplying the information they needed quick enough.

Finally, the item is picked up, and he closes the case. He never apologizes for his actions (bar recently, when it was looking like he would be banned), never gave a real reason.

It was an awful transaction altogether, despite it finally going my way. No one deserves to have this happen to them. If the item was more fragile, who knows what would have happened. Even if it had been returned to me, I would have still been out the initial postage, and the postage for it to get back to me (so 35$).

I did everything right, signature confirmation. In the end, he left me neutral feedback on Ebay, which is as bad as it gets. Cool beans.

tl;dr NDS_Demo gets cold feet on Ebay purchase after the item reaches destination post office, opens case, held 509$ from me, finally resolved after weeks of back and forth. No remorse at all, just childish behavior.

This dude just reminded me of another scammer by how he answer in his posts.
I guess they all work and think the same

 

Somewhat amusing as you put your location as "In a redneck trailer". I don't know what the difference between a redneck and hillbilly is but I've never separated them too strongly. Still, to insult someone based on a perceived background and claim that people here are discriminating against him because he is German shows an awful lot.

 

Do I need to list what each is and the differences between them? Maybe then everyone will know why I got so defensive on that.
