Thanks! And yes, name and shame is in order here. Who's to say how many more people this person may have / may try to ripoff.
Many thanks for these fantastic releases drx. Seeing as I'm the only one interested in the Game.com emulator, how do you actually load ROMs into it? Is it wishful thinking to expect ROM dumps of retail games to load on here? The reason I ask is that the 'Open ROM' part of the emulator seems to be greyed out and I haven't found anywhere else to load files into
I took some pics of the debug stuff a while ago: http://forums.hidden-palace.org/viewtopic.php?t=2895
In order for the Pokemon Ruby German build to work in VBA you need to change the size of the flash: Options>Save Type>Flash 128 KB Thanks for the release!
You're not alone mate. In fact I couldn't care less about any of the other stuff. I'm really interested in this Game.com EMU but also have no idea how to get stuff running on it. Yakumo
This bit is taken from the README.TXT file: 'The Main Window cannot run software yet (in the true emulator style), you have to open the Disassembly Window, load the kernel and click RUN.' To load a game file rename the file extension to .bin and load it from the Dissasembly menu, then load the Kernel and RUN. Below is a shot of Resident Evil 2 running on the Emulator.
Where i can get the kernel files for Game.com emulator? Coz there are 3 files left not included with it (bitmap2.bin, main.hex and main0s.hex) Are they part of game.com bios or what I guess somebody have them (coz of the screenshot i mean) Edit:  sorry, i didnt searched on frogger folder xD Edit2: Nah, i still dont get it. One important thing is to get the rom together with exe, otherwise kernel files wont load. I load the game, active the kernel full (coz the kernel test still says that its a missing file), the menu goes up and when i check the cartrige it says, insert the cartridge blablabla, instead of showing the insertion animation (i've messing around the game.com driver on mess since time). I've tried adress 0, 1, 2 ... no luck. MoonDog, can you explain how you make it work?
Ah fantastic! Thanks for sharing. Later on I did give something similar a go using that panel, however it was asking for a value to start at, which I seemed to have no luck with. I'll give it another go later today!
Sorry, I forgot to mention the three files in the 'Frogger' folder. Okay, here are the steps to run a game: 1) Once you have a game rom rename it's file extension to .BIN 2) In the 'Disassemble Window' Load the new .BIN file from the File menu on address 0 3) Load the (Full) Kernel 4) Click 'RUN' --- Another thing, to access the extensive debug menu in Pokemon Ruby, press 'R' and 'Start' while in-game.
Holy ... it gave me errors coz i was using the no-intro romset  Thanks, i will mess around for next hours ^_^
i have bitmap2.bin, main.hex and main0s.hex in the same folder as the exe but it asks for them when i try and load the full kernel ?wtf?
