SHHHHH! He might have done it for free. Lol kidding. This is one hell of a find, and probably one of a kind. Would deserve reimbursement if released.
Just registered to point ya in the right direction. The sign-ups on the forum are pretty broken when it comes to the captcha code thingie, but you can sign up on the wiki (info.sonicretro.org) just fine, and it bridges an account on the forums that you can then use to make a validation post.
Thanks Cait. You can also check out the irc at irc.badnik.net #retro if you want to get in contact with some people
yeah right. Please don't ask stuff like that here  especially as your first post. Give and take my friend, give and take.
Only 15 hours later and its all over the internet about this game already. Seen it on 3 different sites before coming here so expect a lot of rude people joining demanding the game to be released. Thats not what we are about here! Back on topic really great find. Was a bit weird hearing the Sonic Adventure 2 first level music but I guess as people have suggested it was a pitch or an early prototype of Sonic Raiders
ProtonX PM'ed me and I told him to contact Kev or Drx for guidance with this. Seems he's done the same at Sonic Retro so either way it'll get sorted out one way or another. I wouldn't like to be him/her right now, inbox must be flooded.
Ive offered my help in any way I can, Ive tooled around with an xbox game or two in the past Edit: I noticed that you said the game was freezing a lot. Install the XDK software, and load up Xbox Watson. It should tell you what the error is, and usually allow you to skip the errors and keep playing, unless its a hardware error. I do that with my Alpha kit. And dont forget you can take awesome screenshots using the XDK software. You can right click on your box in explorer and take, or theres a command line. You could also download a program for Xbox-Scene that takes direct feed shots from debug boxes.
sweet looks like i have another reason to want an xbox now this game assuming a fundraiser is held and jet set radio future
Incredible find! Yes, it looks very much like a legitimate game prototype. Since a lot of the content is borrowed from other Sonic games, I'd assume most art content is simply placeholder. It looks like they were still working on gameplay in this build--the camera logic, the physics logic, etc.
We should do it proper, as we do here. And unless he feels like it, he should not be demanded to release it immediately/free/torrentplz
Everyone's jumping the gun on the demand for this =p ProtonX seems pretty patient and I'm guessing likely won't give into any pressure and just disappear just because some people might not understand how to act in situations like these. Besides, anyone who has a prototype of any sort and willingly decides to share such info should full well be prepared and expect attention. That said, I very want to play this game) Can you upload it in the Internet?
You said that you were able to access the hard drive from your computer. Does that mean you've backed up the game? Weather you're planning to release it or not, I recommend that you back it up in a few different places. You'd hate to lose something like that. Nice find BTW.
If you can access the Xbox Neighborhood window, you should be able to easily copy the files to any drive you desire.
