Sonic Lost Worlds = Sonic Xtreme remake?

Picked up the wii u version tonight. The 3ds and wii u versions really are totally different games. The wii u is fun and gorgeous graphically. I wish you got 1 ups with 100 coins. The coins feel kind of useless in the wii u while the 3DS theres more incentive to get them since you get 1ups and you get a letter rank for each level.
