Sony is F*cked: FFXIII coming to the 360!!

I think the fact that its 6 months to a year behind the PS3 is reason enough
to cancel out any notion that this is not going to sell PS3s. Even if the game
royally sucks, it's going to move PS3s just by name brand. It's really no big
deal honestly, look at Bioshock -- It was a Xbox360 "exclusive" and is now on
it's way to the PS3 in the same time frame even.

 

There are plenty of good RPG's. There really are. Just look at the PS1 days.

 

I'm worried of the usa and european versions ...

S-E says that they will start the x360 version after the japanese version (ps3) is finished, then they localize que game to usa-europe. Then ... when it releases in europe-usa?? 1 year after japanese version??

 

last time I looked at BioShock on PS3 it looked like ass

This same point was raised in another thread not long ago (why games get delayed coming to Europe)

I mentioned then that the initial buzz of a 'new' game can often subside when it takes over a year to translate and prepare for the European market. By the time the big flashy ads roll out the next big thing (from Japan) has already hit the shelves over there.

 

I hope that the new 360 dashboard will come soon

Anyway, I think that they'll translate the game from japanese while doing the port to 360. In US and EU, 360& ps3 version will realase simultaneously.

 

I just hope that FF XIII comes before the 2nd coming of Christ.

i've talked to some friends about this and they're pissed beyond belief. they're big RPG fans and 360 owners. a little while back they bought the PS3 for MGS4 but the main reason they wanted it was FFXIII. They dropped $600 for a game that's coming out on a console that they ALREADY own. :lol: they were cursing and yelling over the phone when they heard the news.

 

Hmmm Sony is not fucked, after all. FF 13 is just a game, and no flagship at all. So what if Sony feels a bit burned, but hey do you know what ? Sony will survive. It isn´t the end of the world.

 

My first thought was that this would be huge for Japanese XB360 sales, but it seems that perhaps it is only seeing a European and US release? I don't know how they rationalize that! Crazy.

i'm not really interested in console sales anymore. it was interesting at first almost two years ago. now it's all about the games. having FFXIII on the 360 is just adding one more quality blockbuster game to the 360's awesome library. that's all there is to it.

people can keep buying the Wii, i don't care, but there's maybe one game coming out that i want to play on it.

I cant understand why Squenix said no when the PS3 was nothing but a wimp and the X360 a success, and now that the Sony is finally catching up they drop the bomb and say FFXIII will be on the burnedmachine too.

Tell your friends they are utter morons then. Never buy a machine for a game thats coming out, buy it when there is a game you want to play.

 

I was noting that I knew shuan would be there to play the game.
