Re: ACCLAIM THREAD Will money do instead? :smt033 I'd probably best keep my mouth shut until I see prices. I have a very limited budget. I might be able to afford a pen or something :smt009 .
Hmmm the problem I'm having is that so many of us are selling kidney's, that the price of kidney's has gone down to $5 a piece!!!! ...Lets sell different body parts to keep the market price up guys
I don't think you quite grasp the magnitude. Take what you have in your mind, and magnify it by ten times. Remember acclaim has been around since NES. (edit) ALL of it.
Oh dear lord, I was hoping to stay out of debt over christmas aswell ¬_¬ Oh well, sacrafices must be made for the greater good of my collection! Especially if NES stuff is involved.
Simoly amazing....a true milestone in gaming/collecting history really. ...Hire some guard dogs too. Really vicious ones. Geeks all over the continent are going to know about this, the auction was news everywhere.
The Legacy A great list, if a little inaccurate and not quite complete. I'm sure everyone will agree that's an impressive list, with lots of top notch games on it. Acclaim had some good TV/Film licences, such as The Simpsons and some Marvel stuff. They also brought us Mortal Kombat, Extreme G and Turok. No wonder they were part of the original Nintendo Dream Team for N64. Don't forget, that team was made up of the top developers of the time. I'm glad that, from the sounds of it, much of their inventory has been saved from obscurity. It deserved to be properly catalogued and recorded - now it will be. Well done Kev! :smt023
