GT5 is not perfect but I was impressed that it slowed down the Lambo to the point that it couldn't go any faster. In that aspect its realistic . . . though I'm pretty sure the car would have been crushed as well . . . -Disjaukifa
Hahaha not gonna lie I thought that was pretty funny. But in all seriousness it wouldn't surprise me if they release a complete version sometime next year
Basically it's full of missing features, cars tracks, bugs etc that it's going to need to be patched to hell before people get it the way they want it.
I can't say much yet, only played arcade mode on a game store. My GT5 CE it's on it's way. The Racing part is great, like in all GT's. Racing at night at Nurburgring is scary, the Premium cars are fantastic and 99% of the standards look just as great. What dissapoints me the most is the ammount of stupid little bugs (reading on the internet) and lack of some classic tracks like Seattle, Midfield, Apricot Hill, Swiss Alps. Also, not having an option to save endurance races is annoying, just like in GT4 (guess why i never got 100% in GT4?). I won't stay 24 hours in front a TV playing a videogame. I have a life. I might add the worst use of a license ever. Top Gear. That's right. You have the Test Track, but no Suzuki Liana, Chevrolet Lacetti or Kia Cee'd. What's the point? Also you can't do a lap by starting of the line, it's always a rolling start. The Challenges? What about a Samba Bus race?! It seems Kazunori and PD never (and i mean NEVER) saw a Top Gear Show on their lives. Clarkson hates VW bus. Plus not having the reasonable priced cars it's a missed opportunity for online leaderboards / championships. Anyway, i'll write a big review on the game after a month of playing.
Yeah that makes sense and its unfortunate that we will more than likely will have to wait before we get all those features. Nothing we can do about it though. From the little I have played the game (PS3 Bluray drive failed, but its out for fix and un warranty so thats good) I enjoyed it throughly. Looking forward to getting my PS3 back so I can play GT5. -Disjaukifa
Haven't played online, so i can't say much. Anyway the online part already received 3 patches, so if it's not avaiable yet, surelly will be added.
This one? I know it's fixed, but it's too damn funny. Actually i think Forza 3 had way less bugs / glitches than GT5 has.
In a game series that purports to be one of the best? It isn't news per se but it just shows how inflated their make themselves.
I do wish Forze was not a Xbox only title. I'd buy it for the PS3 as I'm sure their are people that would be GT5 for the 360. But I understand why they don't at the same time as well. If you can focus development to one console, then USUALLY you make a better game that is designed to work on that specific hardware. -Disjaukifa
Speaking of Forza, They showed a preview of 4 on the Spike VGA's and they're finally putting in off road racing.
The only reason Forza exists is because GT is a PS-only title, and no 3rd party made a similar game. Is like SegaGT on the Dreamcast: since they needed a killer racing game and no other company was going to fill the void, they had to do it themselves
